It is an old ice house and a very comfortable feeling inside. The hamburgers are the best we have ever gotten here. Waitress was attentive and personable. Shrimp and grits and chicken fried steak excellent as well. Fries are the best around as well. Prices were very reasonable. Will come back again!

I can honestly say, I have never had a bad experience at The Ice House. The service has always been great and the food quality is excellent. For the price you get plenty to eat. I also like the atmosphere.

Restaurant was recommended by a colleague from work. Showed up Friday night and it was very busy. Waiting time was stated as 30 minutes and ended up being 15. Our wait staff recommended a variety of dishes and was very attentive. Appetizers were very good and came quickly. Food was the best I've eaten in months; literally! My Manhattan was perfectly mixed and was a perfect compliment to the ambience and meal. I would highly recommend this Restaurant and will definitely be back.

I've been here a few times and everything I've gotten has been fantastic. I've heard the salads are amazing. This is one of my go-tos when my friends and family come visit. Love the area it's located in and the restaurant has a cool vibe. I've only had one person not have a good experience as far as the food goes. I've never had issues with the staff.

I found this restaurant on Yelp while on vacation, so happy we tried it! We ate in the restaurant for lunch, the steak bites are so tender and flavorful. My husband and I got the Icehouse salads and my daughter got the cajun pasta. Everything was so good and came out quite quick. Beer list was plentiful with many beers we hadn't heard nor tried before being from the west coast. Sweetwater Brewery beers were definitely a favorite of ours! After lunch we walked around downtown Summerville and then decided to check out the bar upstairs and IT WAS SO GREAT! What a great vibe, eclectic decor, super cool bottle display, and music! We came back the next day as well because we had such a blast here. Great people, prices, and amazing people watching! 10/10! This will become a staple whenever we're in Summerville.

A bustling, family friendly restaurant! Limited parking, but love the outdoor seating (it has a playground for kiddos!) when the weather's warm and the inside has a completely different vibe. The interior is mostly wood with a stone fireplace lit in the evenings. The food there is really good and they have a menu unique to them. Last I was there, they had a pecan crusted pork chop that was spot on. Their creamy cajun pasta is also a really good option for those who aren't fans of spicy foods but like that perfect amount of heat. The portions are also pretty big, so plan to take food home if you're wanting to save room for dessert.

Came in tonight at about 5:30. Was quoted 25-30 minute wait for an outside table. At 6:30 I approached the hostess stand to say we were leaving. All she said was "okay, have a great night". No care in the world that we were leaving without getting served. No sorry, nothing. Terrible customer service.

Absolutely love, love , love Icehouse ! Fabulous menu choices to delight every palette! Great ambiance and very fair prices ! The daily Blue Plate specials are the absolute best in terms of selection and portion sizes ! I am a weekly patron ! I have never had a bad meal and the service is impeccable !

Been going here since I moved to Summerville in 2015, although it’s changed a little over the years the IH will always be the best bar in the area. I highly recommend it for anyone new to the area for anyone looking to make new friends. I met a lot of my friends here and my husband. The bartenders, past and present are some of the nicest, kindest people you will hope to meet. They have trivia every Wednesday night and both the women that run it do a fantastic job and it’s always a fun night out.
The icehouse is always out fun place to go to... Service is great and the food is always satisfying and delicious.

Staff is extreme rude we had friends visiting Summerville and one of the bartenders asked her, “if she has ever heard of a gym before”. It is also a very rough crowd at night of people just looking to start a fight. Lastly, the outside and deck is full of people smoking weed.
