I went there and there was only one check it out and six self checkouts every line at least three Customers and probably 10 customers in the regular check out. I waited my turn to ring up my own food and there was a problem with the clearance items ringing up properly. I asked the cashier for help and she snapped at me saying she'll get there when she gets there. She said I was reading the food up wrong and I need to cover all parts of the barcode and only ring up the yellow clearance section. I jokingly said that for all the work I'm doing I should get a discount on my groceries she snapped back take it up with corporate I'm not ringing this up for you I should you how to do it. I didn't ask her to I just asked her to void the wrong price. She said if I want someone else to ring up my groceries I should wait in the line not the self check out I explained there was 30 people in that line. And she told me to take it up with corporate again. I tried and of course got no call back I am posting my receipt and if they wanted to they could look up the cashier by who voided the transaction, bad experience every time.

All the damn Yankees moving in and crushing us to death can have this damn store! Nothing is ever restocked. They sell out that's it. No more where that came from. The checkers are so slow we only use the check yourself out counter and now those are always "out of paper" "out of order" what the hell ever. I'm going back to the AF Base Commissary and I feel for you locals stuck using this crappy store.

Avoid this Walmart at all costs. Shelves were empty. Not an employee around anywhere to help you. When you find them, they're all in a group talking, not doing anything. The two ladies at the deli counter were horrible. Acted like I was bothering them to get some meats and cheeses. They didn't show me the first slice and they had sliced the whole pound the wrong thickness. Talked to each other the whole time, I asked for a pound and got 1.33 pounds. I didn't complain but I won't be back to this Walmart ever again.

Some lazy a** employees. Some are nice. Horrible manager! They pitched 24 hour service when they brought this store here but that's over. Already wrote Bentonville. If they run out of ANYTHING it will be 3 weeks - 6 months before it's back on the shelf. The gas station is just as bad. The Family Dollar across the street has better management. This store ran another small business out of town. I didn't care when it happened but now I'm pissed about it. Get your crap together, Walmart! UPDATE: That review was for the old manager. I see it's under new management now.

I do shop here except they are always lacking products. Plus unlike all the other Neighborhood Markets in Summerville this one does not say open 24hrs. When they first opened they were 24hrs, but not they only stay open till 12:00am. Plus if you do not get there before a certain time self check out is closed an you end up waiting in a long line to pay for your items. Very disappointing!

I do shop here occasionally. Sometimes I can find items here that are different from routine selections. It's quick to run in, grab what I need and, get back out again. Downside shelves seem to be empty a lot. Stocking appears to be horrible. For me, the atmosphere is basic and bland. Great customer service is also lacking here. I often am bagging my own groceries and pushing my own cart out.

This is probably the cleanest Walmart store I have ever been to. It's conveniently located which makes it perfect for a quick stop or major shopping trip. When I was in the store my Little one dropped his car and it went under a counter. Two employees helped me to find the car and the entire time they were helping they kept telling my little guy that it was alright they would get his car. I appreciated their help and their patience.

Convenience it the only reason this place even got a star. They are never stocked and if you go back 2 weeks later it still will not be stalked. My last encounter about a week ago I noticed whole shelves of bread completely molded green. I do not been one loaf. Like the entire second shelf up. Needless to say I went across the street to Publix for my bread. I let the staff know and they proceeded to blow me off. All in all the management seems terrible at this location. I will spend alittle more a Publix before going to this ill stocked market.

I like the convenience of this location. It's right off of a couple of main roads, so there is easy access. I have been a couple of times and they have been out of items that I needed, so that's why I can't give it a better review. However, the staff is usually pretty friendly and it seems to be well-maintained. There is also a gas station on the premises, which is super convenient.

It is not every day that I award a Walmart 4 stars, but this shiny, new neighborhood market is just the ticket when I need a few basics in-between larger shops. I live over on the Knightsville/Ridgeville side of Summerville. If you know the area you know just how much of a beast Summerville traffic can be, so on the days when I just need a few items this is much better then going to the larger Walmart Super Center off I-26. The isles are nice and spacious and they have a lot of smaller shopping carts on hand to help you zip in and out of the store. There are a lot of grocery items that I purchase that this location doesn't have, so this is strictly a "only when needed" location. The staff have been pretty nice so far (sorry, but that isn't usually a typical Walmart experience), so that is a nice bonus. Since the store is new a lot of the staff are undergoing training, so if you don't use the self-checkout option be prepared for the cashing-out experience to take a little more time than usual. The gas station just outside the store is also great. Their prices are ultra competitive and it is a much easier entry and exit experience than the gas station across the street. Like another reviewer, I am concerned that this location decided to set up shop right across the street from our neighborhood Piggly Wiggly/Mr. K's and Publix. When I shop at this Walmart I usually like to also stop in at the other locations for other specialty items that I know they have and Walmart doesn't. I hope that other shoppers in the area will also be mindful, if possible, to keep also serving the other businesses in the area. Walmart is definitely convenient and price competitive, but they have a habit of crushing other important businesses that employ a lot of great people.

Let me start off by saying I'm really really concerned about the other grocery stores in the area. I think Publix will be fine because their deli is so amazing and they have some specialty items you just can't get at Wal-Mart. Mr. K's, though, may be limping its way into next year. The prices at this neighborhood market on the same as the big store up on Main St., and it is much more convenient for those of us who live out Knightsville way. The gas prices are incredible as well. I like that the store has a center aisle so that you can go part way down an aisle and then go back up if you don't need the other half. In fact, other Wal-Marts could take note of this. Sometimes, the really long aisles in big Wal-Marts get really congested. I also love the fact that the store is clean and everything is easy to get to. I rarely shop for things other than pharmacy and food at Wal-Mart, so this one, for the most part, gives me everything that I need, and I can skip the mega-store. My biggest concern how difficult it will be to get in and out of the store. It is not quite at the intersection of Central and Orangeburg, so you would either need to turn right and do a U-turn if you're headed downtown or take your chances on making a left with a very busy intersection nearby.
