From the time we were seated until we got our food was more than an hour. Half of the bistro patrons had no food - and it trickled out slowly. If you want to eat at this restaurant, go BEFORE you're hungry!

The worse birthday cake I could ever give my daughter .. It’s professionally SLOPPY WORK. I will never order from there again . And I’m pretty the cake designer/ decorator knew it and just decided not to correct it . I do not recommend.

Bought a cake for a birthday from here and it was perfect. Also have eaten here several times. Service is a little slow but the food is great.

Ordered and paid for an iced Americano and an unsweetened iced tea. A few minutes later I was told the iced tea had already been thrown out and was offered a soft drink. (Why would I want a soft drink if both the drinks I ordered have zero sugar in them?) I told the employee no and to just make me another iced Americano. Instead of preparing another shot of espresso, the barista decided to split the one shot she already prepared into two drinks, handing me two watered downed Americanos. 🤦🏼‍♀️ She didn't think i noticed. I won't be back.

Mazzy was our server and she did AMAZING! Was extremely kind and thoughtful, service and food was incredible! The best fried green tomatoes I’ve ever had!

Have been going here since 2013, remember when it was just a coffee shop with a few sandwiches. Now it is a full bakery, coffee shop with a full menu for breakfast and lunch.
Today Kayla fixed up a nice dish as a gluten free option ?

This restaurant definitely has fallen off. Idk what has happened. It is very clear that there is no management working here at this time. The service is fake polite. The food portions has gotten way smaller but has increased in price. They have forgotten something out of my bag multiple times. Today they messed up my order, while having any attitude. And when i asked them to remake it they dropped the same chicken back in the Greece and put it on the same plate and gave it back like i wouldn’t notice.

Exceeded expectations. I recently had the pleasure of dining at here during my visit to South Carolina. Beautiful interior, incredible food, and impeccable service.

I opted for the hand-breaded chicken bites, and they were absolutely divine. Each bite was crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and bursting with flavor. Our waitress was attentive & sweet, going above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was flawless. She anticipated our needs before we would even voice them, promptly replacing my water as soon as it was low.

I go to Baker's Sweets a lot.But today's experience was awful. July 5th 2024, lunch. Never ever have I been so disappointed with how our party of seven were served Where the food came out horrible. My grandchildren 3yrs and 5 yrs were served spicey fries. My fried green tomato BLT had 3 nice size green tomatoes but 1 piece of bacon and 1/2 slice of lettuce. My son was served cold hard shrimp and grits plate that he had to cutt with a knife to eat the grits.My daughter in law was waiting for her fried chicken salad plate and didn't get it until the waitress came with check and realized she forgot it then came back and said they didn't even drop the chicken in yet. My daughter got a chicken sandwich with lettuce tomato and Swiss. It came out plain. My son inlaw ordered his burger/patty melt med rare it came out Xtra well. Among other things. I stood at the front counter ordered my coffee as I arrived, waited as she made it and placed it on the back counter where it sat for 5 min. I had to tell them at the register that it was sitting there. Many other customers were complaining too while we were waiting for our food but I thought nothing of it until I found out when we were served. We should have walked out but no. We got the check after complaining and were only compted the 18% gratuity they charge for larger parties. What#@%&! Larger party? 5 adults and 2 small kids. Our bills were still full price. Excuse, the normal cooks were off and everyone else partied the night before. Sorry Baker's Sweets. You have lost 7 customers today from us and I'm sure others. If you don't have the proper kitchen staff you should not have been open!??☹?

We stopped in for brunch and were pleasantly surprised by the quaint, quiet café vibe. At the entrance, there is a bakery and bistro offering a wide array of sweets and espresso/coffee items, while the back features café-style seating

We were seated quickly and offered beverages as soon as we sat down. While waiting for our food, our host checked on us a few times to refill our drinks, despite a slight delay with our order

I ordered a Turkey Club that had a reasonable amount of meat and plenty of toppings, making the sandwich very filling

The family chose the Chicken Salad sandwich with a fresh fruit cup, the Patty Melt with fries, and the Grilled Tuscan Chicken wrap with chips. All the plates had a deli-style presentation, offering a fresh twist on traditional meals

Overall, for a local mom-and-pop café, the brunch food was reasonable. I’ll need to return for breakfast to assess the full lineup

One of our go to places when we're in Sumter.

Food is really good. The service is just so-so. The server got the drink wrong and then disappeared.

The trouble came when we tried to leave. If you park in the back, you risk getting blocked in by a delivery truck for a really long time.
