Baker's Sweets Bistro & Bakery

Ordered and paid for an iced Americano and an unsweetened iced tea. A few minutes later I was told the iced tea had already been thrown out and was offered a soft drink. (Why would I want a soft drink if both the drinks I ordered have zero sugar in them?) I told the employee no and to just make me another iced Americano. Instead of preparing another shot of espresso, the barista decided to split the one shot she already prepared into two drinks, handing me two watered downed Americanos. 🤦🏼‍♀️ She didn't think i noticed. I won't be back.

Awesome atmosphere good music, service are all nice and friendly and very knowledgeable with their product. Food is made very quickly and taste amazing. Blown away by the farmers omelette and the frozen caramel macchiato. Highly recommend if you wanna have a good environment with good music and awesome food.

Good fresh size able sweets and coffee bar. Good service, reasonable prices. I had the walnut muffin, with Jamaican coffee, deeelish.

The frosted brownie is amazing.

Better than expected. I gotta say if you’re eating a meal at a bakery you are a little skeptical but boy did that mindset change in a hurry. I enjoyed the chicken sandwich dipped in hot sauce and it was delish. My mama had shrimp and grits and she couldn’t finish all of hers due to the large lunch portion at $10.99 so being the good son I finished it for her…. It was as good as any I’ve had in Charleston and I was completely blown away, spectacular. Don’t let the name fool you, their food is outstanding and I can’t wait to go back!

I gave this place a second try and let me tell you, I was not disappointed! I visited my nephew at Shaw about a year ago and he loves the coffee and food but when our food came out. It was dry and bland and messy. It seems like they just cared about getting the food out to customers and not about the quality. This was definitely not the case this time. The place was packed and I still got my food in a decent time. Not only in time but the quality was 1000 times better. Thank you! We will definitely be back.

I ordered an hr ago thru the app and it says order is complete. No one answers the curbside phone so I had to get off my car only to be told that the order’s not ready yet. Seriously? You should treat curbside & dine customers equally.

Went for cake and coffee. Charming atmosphere, and the best coffee and goodies!! Went twice in two days. Once for “to go” and the second time we dined in. Both times, the service was great. Friendly staff too!

I LOVE Baker’s Sweets and frequent there often when I come to Sumter. I love the quaintness and the food is always delicious. In the fall, my favorite treat is their pumpkin muffins. As a matter of fact, they are a staple during our girl trips/gatherings. I have never had a bad experience here and would recommend 10/10.
