Food was overcooked. Way too much breading on chicken both General Taos & Sesame making pieces crunchy tough not tender. Pork fried rice and chicken also overcooked. Meat bits dry and tough. Very disappointed. Definitely overpriced for quality. Used door dash and food arrived promptly and hot but shorted by two items and missing extra sauces.

I am in Sumter because my house has no power and the city sewer is inoperative. This is thanks to Hurricane Helene. I was hungry and went to China Palace for lunch. It was close to where I was staying. They were rated 3.6. I ordered Pan Fried Dumplings and Mongolian Beef. The bill was $22.78. The Pan Fried Dumplings weren’t fried very long as they were lacking the caramelized color from pan frying. They had decent flavor and the accompanying sauce was very good. The white rice that came with the order was perfectly sticky. The Mongolian Beef however lacked flavor. The “select hand cut beef” was plentiful and sans beef fat. It was tender and scallions were abundant. I’ve eaten Mongolian Beef enough times to no what the sauce tastes like. The sauce is typically savory, sweet, salty and a bit spicy. The sauce in Mongolian Beef lacked all of these qualities. If you’re ever in Greenville and you’re hungry for Mongolian Beef go to CHPSTX. Its on 1941 Woodruff Road. Your taste buds will thank you.

Everyone here is really awesome and kind, Mr Albert is literally one of the kindest people around. The food is fantastic (the egg rolls are to die for) and it’s reasonably priced. It is by far my favorite chinese restaurant in town!
Kid-friendliness: They had some terribly uncontrolled and rambunctious children come in (as customers) and the staff was very patient and friendly…even when the kids started throwing their shoes at each other.

I have eaten here so many times! but delivery, ohhh No! my food was open, spilled out, sauce was open and spilled! so nasty! I could see spilled from the outside of the bag! driver said no tip, it comes that way! I always tip mmt drivers in cash instead of on the bill! I threw it all away! I won't ever do that again! I called, and they hung up on me!

My family and I ate there for the first time 2 weeks ago. We've ate at different Chinese restaurants since moving to Sumter a few years ago and so far this place is number 1. We ordered shrimp fried rice with chicken wings, orange chicken with pork fried rice, egg roll, crab rangoon, chicken tenders. Great customer service and food was delicious. We will definitely be going back. Best in Sumter!!
