Just left the Sumter restaurant and was totally disappointed!! First they overcooked soft scrambled eggs twice tried to give me yesterday's potatoes. I ordered loaded home fries and got dry burnt old potatoes with nothing! Asked for a manager and she lied about the potatoes saying they were trying a new product!! Then I noticed she only gave me $5.00 off of a $32.00 order?? If I was white would she have charged me at all?? You just lost a loyal customer and I will spread the word!! Shameful

Eggs Up is a cute, comfortable, friendly restaurant. My husband really enjoyed the crab cake bennie. I had the southern bowl which was a hearty yummy mix of grits, potatoes, sausage, gravy and eggs. The vanilla latte was soo good. Highly recommend if in the area. You won't be disappointed.

Sat for over an hour waiting for a our breakfast meal, we were told they got hit with door dash orders....asked 3 servers about our meal before we got an answer and was told still 2 orders ahead of us...
Fantastic brunch on 2/4/25. Cinnamon Swirl French Toast was delicious, and our waitress was A+. Will definitely visit the next time we’re in Sumter.

I cannot attest to the food, but receptionist was quite irritated with me having 2 calm children. when asked if we could sit at the high top we were denied seating because it was not recommended for children. super sad that the restaurant is advertised as family friendly but cannot accommodate children. We also observed her being quite rude and hateful with others in the waiting area.

The food was great as always atmosphere is wonderful We love coming here unfortunately this visit didn't turn out so well, Our order went in at 11:26 a.m. and arrived at 12:20 p.m. Thank goodness the food is excellent
