DO NOT ORDER THROUGH SEAMLESS AT THIS RESTAURANT! Unfortunately 2 of my orders have not made it to the restaurant using this platform.

Otherwise, a wonderful restaurant with good quality food! I love eating there. The sushi, bento boxes, and wontons are my favorite!!

WHAT A SCAM!!
I called in an order for Steak Donburi ... I got Steak Hibachi. The meat was tough and vegetables overcooked. I called to ask if there was a mistake with my order and told who answered the phone that I got Steak hibachi... the person I was talking to said it was the right order and that was what they served for donburi. Not worth it at all I got a small bowl of hibachi for the price of a full serving of hibachi.

I felt sorry for the poor waitress. She was running herself ragged when taking care of all the tables, cashing folks out, and having to answer call in orders.... she did all this while there was 4 people standing around behind the counter.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY I SPENT

Great hibachi and overall great food.

They didn't say anything about the 18% tip for large party, so I tipped a second time, and then they had the nerve to charge $4.92 for using my debit card. I will not go back

Absolutely awful service. I had ordered some sushi for dinner and requested a few modifications. The main thing was no mayo on top due to a food allergy. I had also requested to add avocado and that also wasn't given, but that wasn't too big of a deal. I tried to call and explain the situation but the phone representative was very rude and continued to raise his voice and claim that I was wrong and that's not what happened, even while I was looking at my receipt. I was also charged extra for the modifications. Unable to eat my food due to the mayo, but partner said his was eh at best. Definitely not worth any money or the hour wait.

My concern is the work environment for the service staff. The restaurant had more orders than they could produce between Togo orders and people trying to dine in. Our waitress was clearly overwhelmed and it was so busy they could not clean the tables for people to sit. The owner blamed the waitress for the food coming out wrong but we got our bill before the food arrived and everything was correct. So he lied…. We tried to tip the waitress but she told us that they don’t get the tips and that it goes back to the restaurant… she said this in front of the owner so we put our tip back in pockets and left. I hope she doesn’t get fired for that, but the environment has to be questionable for her to be that upset to say that.

Long wait times on every time I have ever been there

Among the better sushi options in Sumter. Prices are a little high, but portions are also fairly generous. Dine in atmosphere isn't fantastic but it's clean and well lit, with ample parking.

My daughter devoured the shrimp tempura ramen and seaweed salad. She's loved all the sushi she has ordered in the past as well.

I came in, said hello with a smile, and got the side eye from the chefs and waiter. I sat down and the waiter was quick with my drinks and taking my food order down. When I received my food, I noticed this was the second time (cause I’ve been here before) that they mixed the wasabi and ginger and put them on top of each other so when I was putting wasabi on my sushi it ended up tasting like ginger when I didn’t want that. Any other place that serves sushi knows to put them separately on the side of the plate, not on top of eachother. Thirdly, when I was done with my miso soup bowl I put it on the side of the table closest to the waiter to pick up as when the waiter comes by they normally pick up the plates that are empty when they come check on the table to make room and that didn’t happen so I honestly think the service needs to improve here. Food is good, no complaint there (except for when my sushi tastes like ginger) but I mean a smile when someone walks in wouldn’t be bad and taking the empty plates would be nice.

We came here for dinner on a Friday night at 630 party of 2.

We sat in a booth and our server offered and brought waters right away.

The boyfriend ordered chicken and shrimp entree, and I ordered the chicken entree. Both served with rice and vegetables. That's an appetizerWe had egg rolls and the boyfriend had a house salad. Additionally, we ordered a shrimp tempura roll and a california roll.

The waitress did not ride our order down as she took it and unfortunately brought me steak versus shrimp. She quickly corrected that, however, it still took an extra ten minutes of my partner eating while I waited on my entre. Thankfully we did have the sushi rules.

The food was amazing! Cooked perfectly, hot and flavorful. This is about my sixth time eating here, and i've never been disappointed.

There was plenty of parking as this restaurant is located into strip mall. The entrance and seating is handicap accessible.

This was my third time visiting. The food has been perfect every single time. Not only do the meals look aesthetically amazing, the taste is phenomenal. The only reason I took a star off the rating is because the friendliness of the staff has varied. Some of the servers are very attentive and move with a purpose, while some of the servers look like they don't want to be there and they behave as if you are interrupting their day.

Highly recommend; I will definitely be visiting again.
