Good Vibes Authentic Jamaican Food

I tried this place today and it's delicious. It's right out the Shaw side gate off 441. I got the curried goat with Jamaican greens and mac n cheese, Jamaican beef patties, and a ginger pineapple drink. The portions were big and the food was delicious.

Great fried red snapper meal. With the cabbage and rice.

The food is okay at best… I waited an hour and half for a called in order. The jerk chicken was super pungent. Not necessarily in a bad way, it just was too tangy . The rice and peas were good . Nice people, maybe just had an off day. Idk if I’d try again. But not a place I’d recommend..

The times I've been there the atmosphere has been very good and seems to always have a steady crowd. What I usually get from there is curry goat and it is so good! The only thing is I wish the portion size was a tad bit bigger.

Food wasn’t good at all.. First time having plain tasting Jamaican food. This place has great potential if they make the food with love and passion.. And besides they were very rude!!

So after looking for Jamacian food. On a whim I drove an hour away to find this gem. I loved the food the people were very nice and I could talk to them all day. I felt like I was with family.

It smells SO GOOD in there! The meat pies are so reasonable and YUMMY! They do take orders by phone. It's on a corner, and we missed it as we weren't familiar with Sumter. There is no eat-in dining. However, we will go back!!

It was my first time ordering delivery from this restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed the oxtails, Macaroni and cheese, rice and beans, and orange soda. The helping was large enough to share with my daughter. The food was delicious!

The food wasn't to my expectations they charge so much money. My cooking is better my mother likes the goat meat. But the curry chicken thumbs down. My husband wasted my money. I wanted to choke him out. Sorry, do better. Like give me my money back. Nice people for sure.

Worst service in Sumter. They see you walk in an ignore you....Unless you are a young man. The lady that owns this place seems to perk right up when a man walks in. She never has what is advertised. You always have to get something else...She has a nasty attitude. I'm not sure if she just doesn't like non- black Americans or what...She literally ignored me
and washed a whole sink of dishes while the other lady cut 2 bags of lemons and made lemonade remind you, I was there to pick up food for someone else. I tried it when they first opened and they touched all the jerk chicken without gloves while chopping it before boxing it to go. The place doesn't look very clean and they leave the food under heat lamps until it gets dried up. Will never go back again.
