Meat and 3 lunch special is always a great choice. Whether you call it home style or Southern comfort food, it's delicious. Four stars on service only because they're often busy, but food is still served quickly. I try to go there at least once a week for lunch.

Place is homey and enjoyable. Service by the staff is great. The cooking is a hit and miss sometimes. Cook to order is not there, breakfast items come out not as requested. Some items come out real good.

I brought my picky parents here for the first time today. They both got omelets and I got Gramma's Special with the gravy on the side and a side biscuit. I'm glad I did that because the bowl was perfect on its own and the gravy went perfect with the biscuit. The food was so good, all three of us cleaned our plates. It was a Thursday morning and there were more people than I expected but service was still great. Highly recommend and my parents look forward to coming back.

The food was good but there were discrepancies. My husband and I ordered the same thing but I got more of one item and he got more of another one. Also the fried chicken was two different sizes and was noticeable different. I gave my husband the bigger piece. Other than that, we enjoyed the food and all three waitresses did a great job with being attentive.
