Some slack is given being that it was a Sunday around lunch time which is normally chaotic, but hands down the worst IHOP any of us have ever been to anywhere. It was dirty, the floors throughout the entire restaurant were greasy slick, so much so that even the servers could barely walk. Our waitress, sadly i didn't even get her name, did have to contend with musical chairs and did great, but it took hour to get only part of our order( kids happy face pancakes took an additional 15-20 minutes) along with no apologies, explanations or follow up on wait time, drinks refills etc. The food looked like it was frozen and microwaved, no cocktail sauce for the shrimp, runny eggs that were requested to be scrambled hard and rubbery bacon that was order extra crisp. We were really hoping this would be a good experience as it's a good halfway meet up for family between fort bragg and fort stewart and we would become regularish customers, but we'll be finding another place to meet and eat.

Ceiling was leaking water and the food was not good at all, I've visited other IHOP restaurants and was much better. Wouldn't recommend this IHOP.

I had to eat pretty quickly because the food was barely warm. The coffee was not even as hot as it should/could have been. I had not been to IHOP in a long time, and I was very disappointed!

Waited an hour for service . Meal was cold sent back. This was Sumter, SC on Broad st. Never go back there. Told of discount but not the 55plus part of the bill. Could not even eat the food. Said they had one cook whose fault is that. If I could give no stars I would do that..

We waited over an hour just to get our drink orders taken. It’s 1 person hosting, waiting on guests and cooking. It takes more than 1 person to run an entire restaurant. With IHOP being the only late night dine in restaurant in Sumter this is unacceptable. It’s only 3 tables here with people and two out of the three hasn’t been served yet.

Turkey melt was pitiful. No flavor. Tomatoes were the roasted cherry tomatoes and looked almost rotten Worst I have ever had

This will be THE LAST TIME we come here. The food is ALWAYS COLD and the service is slow! How in the heck can a place go DOWN HILL FAST?

All the food was lukewarm and was not hot at all. Eggs stone cold not freshly cooked. Hash browns were old and greasy. I remember this IHOP location used to be the best. Years later it has changed. I recommend hiring extra employees to help bring the food out while it’s hot to the customer. However, the Pancakes were good because I ordered them after my meal. The waitress was awesome.
