The food was delish and the atmosphere was so friendly. I would have taken a picture but when I got home I was so hungry I forgot. It was my 1st visit. I will take a picture the next time I visit!

We were in the town for a special event and stopped in for a late lunch. The food was delicious! We ordered hamburger steak and smothered chicken with various sides. I forgot to take pics but will make sure I take some when I return.

Very friendly and nice staff. Even better food. Honey fried chicken made to order was unbelievable. I never post reviews but the food and staff was so nice I felt the need to for this place.

I loved this place!! Food was better than good! The owner Mr. Lampkin was very welcoming and hospitable to me and my friend. His top chef Mrs. GEORIGIA PUT HER FOOT in the Mac and cheese and yams. Best soul food I’ve had in a long time. If you’re in Sumter you better try this place! Not to mention it’s a good environment with Sunday music playing, reminds you of mama or grandmas house on Sunday. Loved it

As soon as ai walked it was a vibe! Good music! The owner is very nice and friendly!! The food is good but I truly enjoyed the greens!!!! Those greens are everything! Its a vinegar base greens but not over powering!! I will be back to try more food and to just enjoy the vibes!! I definitely recommend you try it as well

Where do I start... dont put this place on any list if you're a foodie... no way this place got more than 2 stars... close down and start again... who puts vinegar and sugar in cabbage... no one I know... and the mac/cheese was a day + old, the yams had so much sugar and came from a can..
awful place and why do I need to look at a sticky fly trap hanging from the ceiling while I'm eating... if you pay more attention to your place of business than you do, whatever you do or did... you would no, its not a nice dinning facility. No score visible and I'm not shocked... inspector probably has not been there in a while..
How could they win any award...
