Service was EXCEPTIONAL - visited with a fellow foreign USAF spouse with an infant. Staff were attentive, bringing trays to the table for us, getting a high chair, cleaning trays away, all with a huge smile and great customer service. Food was great, well made and flavoursome, the salsa/sauce station was a great asset. The whole restaurant was clean, including the restrooms. Ample parking and a well kept parking lot.

If I am ever back in Sumter, I will be back, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to a friend.

I still miss having these by me where I live. Wasn’t Towne saw the sign and my favorite memory of going into Mo‘s was the welcome to Mo‘s unfortunately I did not get this. Maybe they stopped doing it. Three of us in our group. food was great. I always love the food at Moe‘s. It came out hot and fast. No complaints. This is one of those restaurant chains that you know what you’re going to get before you walk in the door and it delivers upon the fresh food promise personally I prefer going here versus the other place.

Moe's has rocked my world for many years, and this location has continued that tradition. I know their menu has evolved over the years (I miss you, original Moo Moo Mr. Cow and pork as a protein), but they keep trying new stuff, and I have to at least applaud their willingness to change. This location serves a pretty fine burrito, but I have noticed that their chips are a little saltier than I prefer. They will, if I ask nicely, make a batch of salt-free chips for me and my family, and that is outstanding service!

I usually do good with moes in sumter being affordable and convenient food. I recently went with my daughter and ordered a stack, chips and queso order, and a burrito. After arriving home I had found out that they misplaced or misbagged my burrito and found chips and salsa instead. I tried calling to fix this but waited ten minutes on the 0hone as no one answered. I returned to the store and had my burrito remade. When asking the manager present if I could have ANYTHING as any form of compensation for having to drive 15 minutes back to moes to pick up an order they messes up, I was met with attitude. Saying that all I get is my burrito back.
15 minutes of gas waisted and time and no one gives a shit. I wasn't expecting a whole other free burrito or anything but damn. This will probably be my last time at moes, at least in this town.

They were out of queso with a 20 minute wait before 9! On top of that, the manager seems annoyed people were even asking. He no nachos unless they want it without queso. What?!

I typically enjoy the Moe’s franchise; however, the Sumter, SC location is a disappointment. From half scoops of food to an even smaller amount of chips served with rising costs, this was my worst visit. When I asked why I could see straight to the bottom of my chip bag, I was told they only give one scoop, but they could give me more. The young lady behind the counter proceeds to scoop the bottom of a nearly empty bin and dumped broken pieces of tortilla into the bag. The queso, which is a up charge, wasn’t even a full scoop and I was told I would be charged $2+ for anymore. Plus they barely put any meat on the bowl. Needless to say, I’ll just spend my money elsewhere. I won’t be paying increased prices and receiving even less food.

Only reason it’s not a 1 star is because the staff and place was nice. Got the shredded birria bowl with cilantro rice and black beans. It looked fine. Got home opened it up and started eating. After finishing half I knew something wasn’t right. Put it away and didn’t think much of it. About an hour in a felt extremely nauseous and my stomach hurt. After 2 hours I was kneeling in front my toilet spilling my guts out. Wack

I've asked for 1.50 guacamole I never got it in my food upon receipt. Update. Don't ask for guac. You won't get it. Every single time I've ordered through Door Dash or Uber and have paid extra for it to be in my order, they never put it in. I have screenshots of my order and then when you look at the order sticker they've removed it. Super frustrating.

The workers are the reason it's not a 3 star to be honest.
Food is amazing. Taste is great, service is phenomenal.
My only peeve is the fact that I pay an extra $1.25 for queso, then ask for EXTRA queso, for another $1.25. And yet my bowl needs me to add hot sauce at home because it feels dry when I'm eating it.
I get it, it's nothing against the workers, they don't control it. And maybe it's just my personal preference. But I don't feel like I should have to pay the equivalent of a chicken bowl to get it to feel like extra queso is in it. It's already expensive.
Maybe up the portioning of the queso? Or have different sizes? I don't know but for it to really feel like extra queso, I'd have to get four servings. That's $5-$6 extra dollars..
