Placed an order and was given the wrong food. It was close to closing and I called several times to notify them but no one answered. I received a phone call and was asked if I still wanted my food. I told the young lady on the phone I didn’t want it and she hung up on me. I called back and spoke with the manager and she was very nice and accommodating. This is the first time I’ve experienced rude behavior from this restaurant and it was very disappointing as I have been a customer for years

I ordered the hibachi chicken to go. This was my first time ordering from here (Sumter). I was surprised that the hibachi chicken didn’t include any vegetables. It was just rice, chicken and the sauce. Boring. Although the flavor was good I was disappointed in my meal.

Pros: The food is fresh and looks beautiful and service was professional but... Con : has no flavor, very bland. The sweet tea nor pink lemonade was sweet. But I noticed that all over Sumter while trying the sweet teas. The sauces were also bland or nasty. ( yum yum was to commercial idk it was missing something. Teriyaki was best

Almost didn't visit Mon Cafe today because of all the reviews saying that food portions were small. However, I decided to go and was highly pleased. Food portions way exceeded my expectations. I ordered the chicken, steak and shrimp bowl and needless to say, it was enough food for me to eat off of 3 times(for your average person, probably twice). Carmen was the lady who took our order and her customer service was beyond exceptional. She does her job absolutely well and goes above and beyond to explain the menu, give the ins and outs about their reward program and suggest add ons and sauces. She will put a smile on your face. My wife and I were overly pleased with her customer service skills. Back to the food. It was delicious and the portion size,once again was great. Give this place a try if you are in the Sumter area. They earned their five stars. I will definitely be going again. Love this place.
I’m usually a big fan and have always recommended to friends however this time I was very disappointed with the California Roll and Spring rolls . The quality of ingredients and the quantity of ingredients have diminished considerably since my last visit about a month ago. I understand food prices have gone up but please don’t lower the quality of your ingredients to compensate! Your long time patrons will still come for the food they fell in love with!!
