Me and my daughter decided to give this location a break because our last experience wasn’t great, well big mistake coming back, we ordered takeout 08/01/25 and not only was our food nasty, cold, and rubbery, they didn’t put any of our sauces and baked potato toppings in the bag, the young lady who brought our food out was very rude, she just shoved the bag into my daughters window and when my daughter asked her to wait so we could check the bag she rolled her eyes and acted like she couldn’t hear her and went back inside…. Safe to say I will not be returning to this location. Very disappointed!

We were seated immediately in a booth near the bar. It was the perfect spot because Maria quickly became our new favorite waitress. She was friendly, helpful, funny, and attentive. The food and drinks were delicious. The customers were as friendly as the wait staff.

It’s been awhile since we have experienced 5-Star service from a food establishment. The Outback in Sumter was hitting on all points. Our server, Greyson was phenomenal and the food was top-notch. This Outback was run like a well-oiled machine and our experience showed the care Michelle, the manager, has for her restaurant and team. Great job!

On the afternoon of July 11,we ordered takeout from this restaurant and was extremely disappointed to find a long hair—about one feet long—mixed into the salad. It was a strand of hair that was half white and half brown, which was very unsettling. I had already eaten one crouton before I noticed something unusual stuck to the side of the plastic bowl. When I pulled on it, I realized it was a long strand of hair.
It completely ruined my appetite and made me feel sick. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I hope the restaurant takes this seriously and improves its food handling and hygiene practices. This kind of issue should never happen, especially with something as basic as a salad.
