Review of The Hamptons Restaurant - Sumter, South Carolina
I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Hamptons restaurant in Sumter, South Carolina, and I can confidently say it was one of the most remarkable dining experiences of my life. As someone who has frequented many fine dining establishments in Los Angeles, I can assure you that The Hamptons is second to none.
I chose to indulge in the braised short ribs, paired with creamy cheese grits, and I was absolutely blown...
Had drinks after dinner in town. It's located upstairs above Hamptons. Really quiet but a very trendy crowd. If you like gin drinks ask for their special. I am a purist with a gin and tonic with Hendricks and a lime. Their house drink is quite good.

The bar shares its kitchen with the Hamptons. I ordered the artichoke dip, guacamole, calamari, cheese board, and chicken wings. The food was decent.
I liked the fact that they have a decent wine list, which was the main reason I stopped here.
Both the decor and service are a step above typical local restaurants....
