Outstanding locally owned spot with great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. The family that owns it really cares about their guests 😀
Delicious! Quick service and a friendly environment!

We LOVE this place. We discovered Sambino’s Bistro about 6 months ago after attending an appointment in Sumter. Now we schedule the hour drive to have lunch or dinners here for the pure enjoyment of the food and the ALWAYS pleasant engagement with the staff and owners! We give each one of our half dozen experiences here a 10 out of 10 in all categories but the food and those warm dinner rolls (doused in yummy garlic butter) that they serve upon arrival are so worth the trip!!! Bravissimo! We HIGHLY recommend this restaurant it you’re looking for a reasonably priced feast with a wide variety of delicious options. Oh, and I dare you to save room for one of their amazing deserts! Ciao!!
We can’t wait to go back to try more things on their menu.

Never left a review before, but this experience was so bad I just had to do it. We used to enjoy Sambinos so this was our first experience at the European version. Stage was set with the bread balls that used to be SO good - these were heavy, gummy and flavorless. I was then given a Greek salad made with Iceberg lettuce! Things went downhill from there. Two members of my party ordered goulash - one was piping hot, the other was barely warm and was sent back to be heated up. Three ordered Alfredo-one chicken, one shrimp and one seafood - all were soupy with less flavor than a mediocre frozen meal with the seafood inedible. "Frozen dinner" was also how the lasagna was described by my husband who used to really enjoy the lasagna at the old Sambinos. My granddaughter' shrimp scampi was a pile of spaghetti SWIMMING in what appeared to be a pot of clarified butter, again, zero flavor and nasty coating in mouth - inedible. I ordered the Rouladen which according to the menu (and any other description of such) was "two beef rolls" stuffed with bacon, cheese and pickle. I received flat, mushy meat. Even the waitress figured it was a mistake, but when taken back to the kitchen was told it was all mixed in. The only thing we could identify was a piece of soggy pickle. The dish was also SO salty it was again inedible. Our concerns were all made known to the waitress, but other than "sorry" were not acknowledged. $200 later and half of our party had not eaten. The cheese sticks were very good.
Their pizza is awesome! The House Special Large is the best in the Carolinas!

Sambino’s will always be special to me and my husband. Arthur is the absolute best! Today I called and asked for Bistro Chicken (not on the menu but used to be). The cooked it up just right and was absolutely delicious 10/10 recommend!
Ordered 16 inch. To go. One slice had nothing on it. Very dry, no sauce either. Little ceasar got them beat.

Sambino's is a great local eatery that serves a European cuisine, primarily Italian and German. They hosted an Oktoberfest event and served classic German cuisine such as schnitzel and bratwurst. The bratwurst was well seasoned on a soft bun and served with a fantastic horseradish sauce that paired well with the savory slightly sweet bratwurst. Paired with a German dunkel, you can't ask for a better meal.

This is an excellent family run place where they make food from scratch and wait on you hand over foot. Delicious and affordable, I really recommend it. I’ve tried a handful of things from the menu now and it never disappoints!

First time here. It's easily one of the better places to eat in Sumter. The curry brat bites were perfect and the stuffed shells were fantastic. This is a hidden gem and we'll be back. Family style restaurant.
