I had the clam strip dinner. Good portions of clams and fried okra but the hush puppies were tiny. I wanted to add ONE piece of fish but quickly changed my mind when told it's a $5-6 charge!! Service is friendly and not a long wait for freshly cooked seafood.
Honestly not bad for a fish/shrimp restaurant this far from the ocean. Simple fried dishes. They also have fried chicken. My husband got a combo chicken/fish plate. He said the chicken tasted exactly like KFC. Make your own judgment as to whether that is a plus or minus. His fish was whiting. I got a flounder plate. Portions were good. We both had squash casserole. It was like squash mixed with creamed corn minus the corn. It was okay, but I'd rather have steamed squash or...
Had not been here in a couple of years; this visit was disappointing. The shrimp were smaller than usual and all I really tasted was the breading. Green beans were okay, but tasted like they were not fully cooked. New person on the counter had to stop and ask info from kitchen area to complete our order.
