One of our favorite places to go here in Sumter and one of the first places we always bring visitors to as well, cannot say enough good things about this place or their staff!

When I tell you, I had the worst experience at side bar this morning for brunch with my daughter I’m Outrage to watch people be service and seated and receive their food before we even get checked on the third time I see if I ordered a filet mignon with roasted beets and carrots, but all I had was a sandwich with okra which I never received, and my daughter had a breakfast plate and everybody else around us received meals, even people that sat down after us received their meals. But it was also frustrating watching all the servers past us seeing how we were sitting there without any food and everyone else around us was served. No one ever came by the table to say let me check on your food since you’ve been sitting here for over 40 minutes. So I have to say all around Service sucked receive cups with no straws. Just so disappointed at sidebar will not be returning.

I really liked coming here, but today I saw something that just did not sit well with me. They had an animal (a cat) touching and kissing the cat all over the restaurant that was very off putting to me. I always enjoyed coming here but this really made me second guess the cleanliness of everything. Hope to see changes with this.

Not reviewing the food since everyone’s taste buds are different. They have daily specials written on the wall in the corner of the restaurant, when it’s really busy it can be hard to notice. Servers should definitely bring attention to that, we went on ‘Frozen Friday’ and would’ve way rather did that special than the drink that was ordered. And my wife ordered a bbq baked potato and asked for butter and sour cream. Was told they had no butter but was brought the sour cream only to be charged for it? Again, just feel like that could/should be said by the server. Sour cream is almost an essential for baked potatoes you should advertise if you’re charging extra for that. Maybe it just wasn’t our servers night but other than that everything was just pleasantly mediocre. Nothing wonderful but definitely nothing bad!
The ambiance of this place was pleasant, and the servers were exceptionally friendly. The food, however, was a mixed experience. While the brisket was delicious and juicy, the pork ribs were unfortunately dry and lacked flavor. Moreover, they didn't have butter for the buns or the hush puppies, which was disappointing. Additionally, despite advertising a variety of mojitos, they couldn't make any due to the lack of mint. Overall, it's a decent spot for a quick bite, but there are areas that could be improved.

Hands down the best pulled pork BBQ sandwich I have had yet. And the wings were absolutely delicious. This place should be #1 on your list when visiting Sumter.

Great BBQ! We have a lot of highly acclaimed BBQ restaurants where I live. Being out of town, figured I would give this place a try. Food, service, atmosphere and pricing was all excellent!
