I've never had a bad experience here. Our waiter today was the best, and I hate that I didn't get his name to post. I had the brisket and my mother had the shrimp nacho pizza. They were both excellent. I'm slowly working my way through the menu.
It was a beautiful day outdoors, so we sat on the patio for the first time. Immediately a familiar face came up and took our order. It has been a while since our last visit. Seeing the same very helpful young man speaks well of the restaurant. Turnover can be a big issue for lower quality restaurants. Our food was tasty. We were spoiled by excellent service and flavor.
Every thing a local, southern gastro-pub should be and incredible food to boot. Elevated bar food that takes classics to the next level and introduces some fun and flavorful innovations. Service is always solid and the interior is comprised of art crafted from old rail road material - very fitting and well conceived. Great outdoor seating as well - made cooler by massive but quiet fans.
