Food is normally okay. It’s relatively affordable and you get what you paid for. It’s usually good. I would give the food 4/5 on average.
The reason I am reviewing today: Today I decided to go here a whole hour before their closing time, and even though they’re open, they turned me away saying their kitchen is closed. This is a restaurant and they closed their kitchen a whole hour early??
Well if you’re closing early on a normal day maybe you should update your hours on the internet so we don’t all waste our times…
Also the girl that turned me away literally just walked outside 5 min after me to say hello to her significant other who parked in front of the restaurant real quick during her work hours… so clearly they have zero intention of selling any food items to a customer at this time…
I am just very disappointed.

When I don't feel to turn on the stove it's my quick go to for a good meal!!! Love their salmon or flounder meals. They know me pretty well and it's always gr8 getting served by any of the lovely ladies there!! Can't go wrong at this establishment when u want a good southern dish.... never disappoints!!!

First time trying it and Im so glad we did. We got the baked Pimento cheese dip and it was so good Im sure I heard angels singing. Also had She Crab soup and the seafood platter with fried mac and cheese. Every thing was divine, fresh and quick. Service was also amazing and the place was so clean you could eat off the floors. (you really can't, dont ask and make it weird. ) Solid experience, can't wait to come back.

I would not have accepted this job if I had known it was family-owned and that the owners' son often becomes overly involved with managers, even offering rides to and from work in a way that feels unprofessional. I have never worked in a business with such poor cleanliness standards, including roaches and stained floors. I have never worked for an owner who chooses to yell at employees rather than manage professionally. I have also never worked with a manager who gossips about staff, including younger employees, and accuses others of trying to take their tips instead of focusing on leadership. If you enjoy a negative work environment, dealing with cleanliness issues, being treated poorly for not participating in gossip, and working under unprofessional management, then this may be the right job for you.
