Susie's is the best place to go in Sumter for the best Fried Turkey Wings, Soul Rolls (original creation of seasoned collard greens in a wrap), and Fried Chicken Wings served with your favorite sauce!The Fried Turkey Wings are usually very tender but this one was a little chewy! However, it was flavorful!The building where Susie's is located is small but clean. A one-person business can slow a business down serving just one customer at a time and one is waiting, me! That was the situation when I arrived to pick up my order that I had called in earlier. Very slow but exceptional, deliberate, and friendly service if you are willing to wait! I was willing to wait!BBQ mustard-based sauce is a delicious complement to the turkey wing pictured below. The sides I prepared (nothing wrong with Susie's) Couscous and Sweet Peas with 1/2 of a Susie's Soul Roll (on the house), my new boss's sugar cookie dessert and a spot of Goji Tea with honey! It was a day of giving and receiving!?I will support Susie's in the future!Parking: The parking spaces on the side of the building accommodate approximately 4-6 compact vehicles. The space in front is enough for 2 cars that are parked correctly!

I picked up a call-in order. A one- person show makes the business run slow. But after I got the Fried Turkey Wings and Teriyaki Wings home and made my own sides (nothing wrong with Susie's), it was Dee Lish!!! Call in to save time! She even threw in a Soul Roll. It was my first, that was also DeeLish!
If you haven't given this place a try, you're a punk a$%.Absolutely cooked to perfection, flavor was spot on.The lady behind the counter was charming. I do believe it might have been Susie herself.No other place in town cooks the wings to perfection... too hard, too dry... etc.This place is not guilty of following the pack, but setting the lead.Go here, find your flavor and indulge.

The best wings ever?!?! Hands down ? We got 20 for $25. Again, when I'm craving wings and Susie's is in town, will be stopping by their food truck ☺️Better than Leo's and Gadgets (Lugoff & Camden). Love Lugoff and Camden but since they shrunk their wings...

I visited Today and ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp Fries . Overall okay. The sauce is a nice combo. But for $14 there could be real shrimp instead boxed popcorn shrimp. I would visit back for another entree.

I tried this place a few years after it being recommended and I did not like it. I decided to try again today due to the high rating (4.5).Well I know now that I won’t be back. The wings (in which I requested to be fried hard) were slimy and slightly undercooked— not in the slightest were they fried hard.I ordered the Bam Bam fries— the sauce was decent but the fries were undercooked and the shrimp tasted like precooked frozen shrimp that was warmed in the microwave.The soul roll was extremely underwhelming— it lacked flavor and was very bland. I wanted to enjoy this place but I absolutely did not and would not recommend.
The Soul Rolls are a must try for any southern soul food lover, be sure to dip in the Susie's Sauce for that extra burst of flavor. The Bam Bam Shrimp fries are everything you want em to be!!
Amazing wings! I had the Garlic Parmesan wings with Bacon Cheese Fries and Strawberry Lemonade! My Husband had the Chili Dogs! Food was hot and flavorful! The restaurant had good vibes and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely be going again to try the turkey wings!
