First and only WH I've ever had a burnt waffle. 🥳
They're busy, sure... but no greetings, no check in, got the waffle wrong and the underside was almost black from being burnt and left open in the iron, no teamwork and everything was overcooked so much it was tough.

Easily the better of the two locations in Sumter. Staff are affable, polite, and speedy. The food is reliably good, but every once in a while the cook lets you down. This location could use some updating, it's obviously taken a beating over the years. Sometimes it doesn't feel that clean, even for a busy diner. Overall we enjoy going as a family to enjoy our favorite food and engaging with the staff.

i would rate the food if we ever got it. came in last night at around 8:45 with 3 other people, nice young lady said it'd be a minute as they were going through shift change, okay cool understandable. we proceed to wait for 40 minutes to simply not even acknowledged by any of the other staff, however everyone else, including the man in the booth right next to us, got served. we weren't even approached once, despite several employees walking right by us.

We were on the way to the beach with grand son this girl I'll call Nala was exceptional courteous the place was full our food was good and fast we had a very good experience here. And when we come this way again .. we will stop in again

B careful of what u order and know the prices because those cashier's are making up prices and overcharging people. I will never go back to that waffle house. Please look at the menu if u don't want to get ripped off. Mind u, I ordered the same food from another waffle house and there was a big difference and mind u, the other waffle house is just up the street. Smdh!

Ordered waters, two waffles and some hashbrowns. Waited forever for it. The waffles came out and we had no silverware. By the time we got silverware the food was cold. Still no water. The waitress outright ignored us and just stood with the cooks. I walked up trying to pay so we could leave and she blatantly ignored me. I had to basically yell at her to just pay for the two damn waffles. I wish we could have just walked out without having to deal with her again. The hateful judgement, nasty looks, and wait time for just WATER we never got was beyond ridiculous. This was bad even for waffle house.
