I visited this Zaxby’s on Broad Street in Sumter on 8/17/25 around 7PM and it was by far the worst experience I’ve had at any Zaxby’s. The manager on duty was openly rude to both customers and her employees. Instead of working alongside the team, she stood around barking orders and belittling people, creating a toxic and uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone. You could see the frustration and misery on the employees’ faces, and it was obvious her behavior was making things worse, not better.

The service was painfully slow, and her lack of real leadership made the situation even more unacceptable. A manager’s job is to lead by example, motivate their team, and create a positive experience for customers. This was the exact opposite. Zaxby’s corporate needs to seriously review the management at this location because this kind of conduct is driving both customers and employees away. If I could give it 0 stars I would. My heart goes out to those employees working under her.

I love zaxbys dont get me wrong but the line is long and they're about to close but my food had been ordered way before 10:23pm i called and ask could they take my food to my dasher and they told me no everyone has to go through the line... Knowing they're about to close why would i want cold food?

I had the worst experiences one night…went through the drive thru waited and when I got to the pick up area I was asked for my receipt. Then I was told to pull in to the parking spot where I was interrogated about my receipt and this manager even said she checked the camera ….so then I was finally given my food with no drink. I attached her name tag…..says it all 🤣🤣🤣

Tasty food but there is a 1/78 chance you get over fried wings,the other reviews are currently low but I think this place is better than that. The atmosphere is great and I go there about once every 2 weeks just don't go when it's crowded to avoid over fried wings
