One of the best Americanos I’ve ever had, which is saying something since that’s the drink I’ve ordered on my first visit to any coffee shop for over 25 years. It had a clean taste with notes of stone fruit and slightly nutty. I don’t yet know where they get the espresso, but I’ll be asking tomorrow. The drink came out piping hot and stayed a perfect temperature through breakfast. We ordered the “Lotsa Lox” bagels. The bagel itself was excellent. The toppings varied. A generous portion of mild smoked salmon, delicious and abundant cream cheese, slightly too heavy on the red onions and too light on the capers. The tomatoes were not good (but then, I’ve met few good tomatoes in February). I would recommended the chef consider swapping out “meh” slices of mealy tomatoes for a great handful of sweet grape tomatoes (this is another dish my husband and I have been eating for a about a quarter of a century now, having begun the tradition during our honeymoon in San Francisco). Just my opinion, but no tomato is better than a bad tomato!
Looking forward to coffee again tomorrow morning. You will be our spot during our stay in the area!
Kid-friendliness: Low-key cafe dining with plenty of easy seating, good eats, and kind staff would make this great for families with kids.

This café is a great find. A friend told me about it, so I had to check it out for myself. I didn’t see anything gluten-free on the menu (it was very busy so I didn’t ask), so I just had coffee, but the coffee was fantastic. I bought my husband a package of their chocolate chip cookies, and he absolutely loved them. It’s a small place with not a lot of seating, but they do have some inside and out. They are very busy, but the line goes fairly quickly.

Holy cow, i just paid 14dollars for a breakfast sandwich...completely unacceptable, and it doesnt even have A real egg on it. I ordered ""porkroll egg and cheese on a roll and add bacon""..what i received was "the porkroll" which is apparently 2 super thin slices of porkroll, liquid eggsubstitute and cheese on a roll for 9bux, wow!.... then the added bacon of is called "2oz of meat" i guess, and i received 2 slices for the 4dollar upcharge. Double wow!.....crazy overpriced at 13.89, and then theyre looking for a tip...Really?!?!..not worth it at all..not even close...ill just head to mcdonalds and get 2 breakfast sandwiches for 4bux..

great selection of pastries. I have to say I did try the chicken pot pie and was really disappointed. Very dry and had an odd taste to it. a waste of $25. Ended up throwing it out. Never again. My husband does love the cookies.
