Great local venue. Nice neighborhood feel. Bagel sandwiches were great. Very good coffee. Right in our backyard and had to see it on local TV to discover it. Will definitely go back.

We have been a coffee bean customer of this cafe for years and wanted to call them out for EXCELLENCE!
First, the coffee beans are absolutely FRESH AND DELICIOUS. We buy a lot of beans and Benjamin's is an absolute favorite. Carolina Gold and Brazil beans are must try for drip, pour-over and espresso.
Second, you will never get better service from a business than these guys. Very kind and highly responsive gets the highest marks and means a lot. Bobbie runs a wonderful operation and we appreciate her greatly.

If you’re looking to get ripped off, this is the place for you. $10 for a basic breakfast sandwich that contained shreds of pork roll. I’ve never in my life seen pork roll cut so ridiculously thin and then only two slivers of it that don’t even cover half of the sandwich. This place is obviously out to rip off tourists. I live right around the corner and will never return or recommend. I would have been better off with a gas station sandwich. To top it off, the eggs are PREMADE (as told by the employee) and you cannot order a fresh cracked egg. The bagels are also miniature sized and barely fill a toddler up.
Photo for proof of how ridiculous it is.
Don’t waste your money here!
Best Little Bagel Spot in Surfside!
Benjamin’s Bakery is a hidden gem! This cute, family-run spot has hands-down the freshest, most delicious bagels and pastries around. The everything bagels are perfectly chewy with just the right crunch, and their cream cheese spreads are out of this world. Don’t sleep on the croissants and danishes either—flaky, buttery perfection every time.
Super friendly service, always a smile, and you can taste the love in every bite. Every single time we drive down from Maryland, Benjamin’s is an absolute must-stop (we plan our route around it!). We grab a dozen (or two) every trip—highly recommend!! 🥯❤️

I had a turkey-cranberry sandwich to eat in plus two plain bagels to go. The sandwich was delicious but seemed a little light for what I would expect from a deli. The price was fair.
Benjamin is famous for their bagels. Mine were fresh and had just the right amount of chew, but they are a little bit lighter than the best bagels I have had.
Service is super friendly, fast and efficient. I was there at a slow time but could tell that they would be ready for a much larger crowd--both by the layout and the way the counter service was conducted.
The place is well lit and clean, with basic seating that packs the maximum capacity into a small space.
