Have tried several meals here and they all have been outstanding. We will continue to make this our "go to" restaurant for Italian food. Always served large portions Friendly staff and very fair prices.
We are moving to Surfside Beach and was on a quest to find good pizza! Look no more, it is at Casa Calimari. We had spaghetti and meatballs and pizza. Both were superb and the garlic bread they brought to the table was the best I've ever had and I am full blooded Italian. The service was outstanding. Will go back very soon!
Casa Calamari is our local Italian restaurant of choice. They always cook pasta al dente which is better for you and I love the texture. My favorite dish is the chicken piccata, so lemony and delicious. They did recently change the sauce a bit which for some reason made it almost impossible to swirl the pasta onto my fork! I had to lean over the plate and slurp it up, not very attractive. My husband like the linguini with clam sauce. He always says it is the best he's ever...
