Food was good but the beer needs to be colder. That's the only reason for the 4 star rating. Had a nice car show out front to enjoy on the deck.

Super cool vibe, great outdoor seating tiki bar and the food was ??. We had the Island Nachos with pulled pork and the Cuban Cigars (egg rolls). Delicious and super reasonable prices!!

The j*** shack experience was amazing. Got the southern heat which i saw advertised awhile back on the news and it was phenomenal. I absolutely love the vibes in this place, the lighting really does something, the great music playing, Food is amazing , everyone here is really nice and seems like a great team! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!!

Everything about this place is amazing! The staff is so friendly, we were treated like family as soon as we entered, I don’t know if it was the manager or the owner but a gentleman came by multiple times to talk with us and check in to make sure we were enjoying everything, which I appreciated. The atmosphere here is fun, laid back and over all perfect for the theme.The coconut shrimp is to die for! The best in the area. And the shrimp tacos are the best in town.If you are visiting or a local this place is a must!

Home of the 1/2 lb burgers. Locally owned, veteran operated bar and grill with a rustic, laid back feel with a large outdoor patio and tiki bar. Menu offers an assortment of burgers, wings, tacos, dogs, salads, sandwiches and more. Full service bar serves up a line of brews, mixed drinks and frozen cocktails. My Surfside Bacon Cheeseburger was a sizable, juicy patty with caramelized onions, bacon, cheddar cheese and Muscadine Wine sauce on a toasted bun. The sauce was brought on the side and wasn’t much to my liking. But the burger was. No asking where’s the beef. You will find it here. A little rare in the middle, which I prefer. My choice of side was the Island Slaw which was a chunkier, thicker sweet slaw that I couldn’t get enough of. Ryan, our server, was on his game and brought personality and punctuality. Food came quick, hot and a side of humor on his part. Enjoyable experience.

This restaurant is awesome. Food was great and the service was amazing. The bartender, waitress and I'm assuming owner all came by the table to check up on us. I love going to a place where the food is seasoned and I don't have to add salt and pepper after the fact.....Jerk Shack gets it done. They even brought out my son's soda in a wine glass so he could feel "fancy" with the rest of us. The bartender at one point jumped up on stage and invited my son to dance with him. Lots of fun and a great way to start out vacation.

Arrived for dinner and was seated at the outside deck bar. 5 minutes to be given menus, 15 minutes for a drink order to be placed, 10 minutes to get our drinks and 15 minutes before the server finally and begrudgingly came to take our orders. I feel it important to mention that we were told loudly that we weren't the only patrons there. Another group nearby merely signaled for their check and were told loudly from across the room that they too weren't the only people there by the same server. When the server finally "gave us our turn to order after 45 minutes he became surly towards my wife and handicapped friend to which we decided to just get up and leave. I spoke to my cousin, who lives nearby and he said that his only experience there was "okay food, terrible service" too.

The quality, quantity and prices are great. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The owner even greeted us shortly after we arrived. And checked on us during our lunch and near the end of our meal. He was very friendly. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. We will certainly be back.

We arrived at the tail end of a car show happening in the parking lot. That made it a bit confusing at first, as I wasn't sure where/if I could park there.Once that was sorted, being seated and served was easy peasy. There were maybe 2-3 other dining guests besides us. [The place was pretty empty, even though Google Maps stated it was the average amount of "busy" for the time frame.] Service was good, as was the food. It suited our needs for a late lunch quick bite to eat.[They were out of their white/coconut rice during our visit.]
Very clean environment. I had a salad with summer fruits and greens. I added coconut shrimp with poppy seed dressing on the side. Very fresh and delicious.as an appetizer we had fried pickles. The were very crispy and not grew set. Very nice staff and efficient.

Excellent spot with very good food, ambiance and prices. Friendly bartender, Laura, I believe..was great. We will definitely be returning again. Wings, burger and j*** chicken sandwich all were on point.

We sat outside on the tiki deck, it was really nicely decorated. The food was AMAZING- we both really enjoyed our meals! Our waitress wasn’t very friendly BUT there was a waiter that also helped out, he was very charismatic and made the service very enjoyable! Ask for Ryan, and enjoy some great food and good laughs!

We stopped in for lunch and the food was delicious! I tried the Cuban sandwich and was not at all disappointed! They were short staffed but our waiter Ryan still made sure everyone knew they were working on it. I will definitely be back to try more of their menu!

The ambiance is very chill here! You can choose from sitting inside or outside under a patio shelter. If it hadn't been raining we would have taken this option. They have tasty drinks from the bar (we recommend the Bob Marley). The owner is very proactive in keeping up his restaurant! He was cleaning tables and getting drinks to help the staff. The live music was great! Now for the important part the food! The cheese curds!!! They have a slight hint of heat to them that is perfect and unlike any other cheese curds I've had. My husband and I got a classic beach burger and a patty melt. Fantastic! So much flavor!!!!! Just try it out!!!
