Me and my family have been here twice both times we were here on vacation. The first time was a few months ago and the breakfast was wonderful and our waitress was very friendly and helpful I think her name was Tessa or Teresa or Tiffany I can’t remember but she had blonde curly hair she was so wonderful. Our second time was yesterday 9/18/25 we stopped here before heading back home for breakfast after checking out of Ocean lakes campground and our waitress was Paula and she was so rude seemed like she had a attitude the whole time. When she came to take our order I asked her to give us a little time because my four year old daughter is autistic and a very picky eater and she couldn’t decide what she wanted and the waitress kinda got a attitude after we ordered other people brought our food to us and they messed our order up so we had to wait for our waitress to come back and we told her and she didn’t say anything just walked off and about ten minutes later showed up with the correct order then she seemed like she was trying to rush us out. I thought this was a good family oriented restaurant but after today I don’t know if I would ever come back definitely if I had to deal with Paula as my waitress again. We asked to speak to the manager or the owner and come find out she said she was the manager and that the owner would not see us and her attitude just got worse. If it wasn’t for my wife I would not have left a tip due to how she treated us and believe me I definitely believe in tip as my oldest daughter is a waitress and I know these girls bust their butts for just the tips.

just sat down for breakfast, waited 30 minutes (completely fine) just to sit down with my significant other and see a german cockroach crawling on the seat. the Asian female with the headband seating everyone asked me if we wanted to leave as a first solution. WHAT???? I am in real estate and know any/every kind of roach. this is HORRIBLE.. go elsewhere! poor management, lack of accountability. Save your dollars and find a roach free spot! I wish i would have taken a photo but we were so freaked out we moved tables. again, awful and unsanitary!!!!! STAY AWAY!

I had such a wonderful experience at this pancake house! The food was delicious, fresh, and came out quickly, but what truly made my visit stand out was the amazing service. My server Teresa went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—friendly, attentive, and always one step ahead with refills and checking in. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend. Teresa really added to her a team and it shows that really cares about their guests.
