My husband and I went to Pizza Hyena for lunch on Saturday, and we had such a great experience. Our server, Babz, was incredibly personable and helpful. We ordered drinks, and based on her recommendation to try the hot honey Hyena sauce on the wings—wow, she was spot on. They were fabulous!
I ordered the portobello mushroom sandwich, and it was delicious. The bread was light and fluffy, and the arugula added the perfect touch (I love arugula!). The atmosphere was fun and lively with college football on the TVs. We sat inside; it’s a bit on the darker side since there isn’t much natural light, but it didn’t take away from the experience.
We’ve also tried their pizza before, and it’s fantastic. We’ll definitely be going back. Check it out when you’re in Surfside!

My husband and I shared the Play it Again, Clam pizza and the roasted olive appetizer. The food was fantastic! I wish we lived closer so we could have it more often! For the food, a couple of beers, and a cocktail it was mid $50ish. Not bad for today's prices. It was worth it for the quality of food plus our server was great too!

We had a few of their signature pizzas, they were excellent and great names (I had “when you can’t decide”- which had ammests and mushrooms). Bronwyn our server was nice, and very attentive, Miles the manager made sure all was going well. We’ll be back!
