Live mermaids and Pirate Donny! Do I need to say more? ! Great food selection, I love the crab legs , but plenty of seafood and non seafood choices as well. A must with the whole family !
Really good food. This place won't disappoint you. Great service too.
6 was very, very, very good. Fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese are better than the pink lady restaurant. The fried chicken is not traditional, which makes it that much better. Wait staff is excellent, efficient, and super friendly. It's totally worth the extra 5 minute walk from the riverfront. The drink menu was fun. I can only tell you that we will go back to have dinner there on our next visit to Savannah! One last thought....try the flight of Rum!

This restaurant. Was great when me and my family went here. The food was awesome and the employees in mermaids were amazing. This.
Will always be.a nice restaurant to go to
I Have tookin my Highly trained service dog with me to this restaurant before. As I was getting ready to go to the checkout line. At this restaurant at the front desk. The manager was really rude and was. Making a big deal to the customers about service animals and was talking behind her back about my service dog. As I walked in to this restaurant, they asked if my dog was a service dog and I said yes. They try to deny service dog teams.i hope this restaurant doesn't open anymore but if they do happen to open again I probably won't come to this restaurant ever again the manager is just Really rude to people with service animals

We typically visit Myrtle Beach late summer or early fall and were looking for something different for seafood. Took the family here for an early dinner and enjoyed the food, the ambiance and experience. The food was fresh and with many varieties to pick from there is something for everyone. The manager personally visited the patrons, there were occasional displays such as the cannons firing to defend the clientele and indeed a real mermaid in the pool greeting and speaking with kids.
A great experience all around!

Slightly disappointed. Brought our 3 kids here in a Wednesday evening while we are vacationing in the area. Literally 2 other cars when we got there, that was a bit concerning but we continued on.
ATMOSPHERE: This was the biggest disappointment. Apparently the mermaids aren’t there anymore because of the season, recent reviews mentioned they were there so I was hoping they would have been because that would have been a big hit with the kids. Interior decor was cool, and the cannons blasted off 1-2x when we were there’s. Outside of the server wearing some light pirate attire, there was no cool
Pirate stuff going on. Normal
Music, no pirate lingo or accents, I kind of assumed there would be pirate like characters walking around and making things fun, but that was non existent.
FOOD: Buffet was hit and miss, crab legs were awesome and plentiful, prime rib not so great (overcooked and not served warm enough) peel & eat shrimp were tough, flounder was tough, corn was watered down, etc. The catfish, wings, and fried shrimp were pretty decent. Salmon and chicken Marsala was ok. We tried a lot of other things as well, most of it was just mediocre. Salad bar was pretty good and the desserts were pretty good too.
SERVICE: outside of the server not really bringing any pirate fun whatsoever, I will
Say she was good about clearing plates, bringing new baskets for the crab shells, refilling drinks etc.
All in all, maybe on a weekend night in “peak season” things are a bit more lively, but for spending over $200 after tax/tip for 2 adults and 2 children (youngest was free) it didn’t really seem like the value was there given the mediocre food and lack of “pirate fun”.

The food was great, and our waitress, Ira, was absolutely superb!! She was friendly, attentive, and even cracked my husband's crab legs for him when he was struggling.

The food is a mixed bag. The Crab legs are good, but the prime rib was mid at best. The oysters on the half shell were decent but other items were dried out and tough. The service was a nightmare, not due to the server, who was excellent, but due to the management. We chose this place because they stated they were open until 9 PM and we checked into our Hotel shortly before 7 PM. We arrived at the restaurant around 7:15 expecting to be able to eat our fill until 9 PM. However, they shut down early with no warning, meaning that we went to get more servings around 8 PM and all the best items had been removed already. We were told we could keep eating and could take whatever we liked from the buffet, but there was nothing there except filler items like rice and pasta. We did not get a discount on our meal, so the $59 per person price for less than an hour of eating was frankly very pirate like- we felt ripped off. All in all, it was an expensive meal for little food of consequence. Maybe they do better in the busy season, but if you state you are open until 9 and that the buffet is all you can eat, you should honor that. At the very least, the manager should have come by and warned us they were planning to close early and that we should fill up some plates before they removed the main items. Failing that, they should have discounted the price. Would not recommend.

My Mom wanted seafood and my granddaughters heard scuttlebutt from beach buddies of there being “ACTUAL” mermaids at this restaurant…you know we HAD to go!
The place was a buffet, full, busy though very neat and clean. The servers and staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating. We all enjoyed our meals WITH dessert and the girls were thrilled to talk with the mermaid! Great food and company for all ages.

We love coming to Pirates Table when we visit Myrtle. Food is always delicious, especially the crablegs and the baked scallops. Yum! Staff is super friendly. Always a good time! The only negative is the wooden chairs aren’t very comfy. But for yummy crablegs, I’ll sit anywhere. ?
