Southside Grill

IYKYK - We had an absolutely fabulous dinner at Southside Grill with Rick & Mimi Mckee tonight. It was rushed trying to cover 50 years worth of memories in one evening. If you are visiting the Myrtle Beach area, I highly recommend the Southside Grill in Murrells Inlet. Without a doubt, this was the best meal we have had in the area. A bit of the ‘BURGH at the BEACH! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Listen, I was a chef for 20 years and know when I'm being served frozen crap and this was definitely not the case. This place was awesome, great food and friendly service. Would definitely recommend and everything down to the chocolate mousse cake far exceeded my expectations

A must go place! Over-the-top (in a great way) caring service. Delicious dish of grouper and crab❤️❤️❤️. Surprising special baked potato. Good Cole slaw. To DIE FOR carrot cake. They do food the right way. I’ll be back (maybe tomorrow!)

This place is a gem. I visited there after a 6 hour tournament round. The servers were very nice and stopped by to talk. Clearly a sports hang out on weekends if you like football. Small family type restaurant. The food was great. They even threw in dessert as a good luck! True Southern hospitality.

The atmosphere was awesome. I won't say everyone knows your name, because we have only been once, but the staff, the other customers, everyone was so friendly, just like most people in Pittsburgh are. We walked out feeling like we had just had dinner with close friends. The décor was Pittsburgh, on steroids, LOL (it's all good). The menu was Pittsburgh meets the coast. My wife and I started with some perogies, very good, it has been years since we have had them. Then we both had burgers, both cooked to our liking, hers medium well, mine medium rare. Then they asked about dessert, which my wife came off with our standard, oh we are too full, but I had seen a sign out front, and one inside that said they made fresh pies daily, so when the next person stopped by our table to ask, I stopped my wife, and we were both glad I did. The cheese cake and carrot cake are to die for. We were full, so we took most of it home. The server brought them out in to go containers, but she brought forks too so we could taste them there. We will most definitely be back.

We ate dinner here tonight after looking for somewhere close with good reviews, we were not disappointed! I can’t wait to try my chocolate turtle cheesecake tonight 🤗 Great food, amazing service!

Great local spot. Grilled Grouper was excellent as well as the real baked potato. The potato had a wonderful coating on it and even the skin was awesome! Fish was very fresh. Carrot cake was on point. Will be back.

Our “go to” restaurant for trips to Garden City - so good that we are there 2 of the 4 nights in town. Delicious grilled shrimp, lightly fried Grouper, and the most wonderful fried baked potatoes! And can’t go without mentioning the homemade desserts. Seems to be the place for locals to dine, but we were welcomed with open arms. Most everyone working there is family or close friends of the family. If you’re looking for a great meal + want to support a local family owned and operated business - this is the place to go! Looking forward to seeing you again in 2025!

Highly recommend the Grouper ala Kim. Get the baked potato with salsa. Excellent!

Omg! A must try eatery! Got the Grouper Ale Kim. It was so good forgot to take a picture. Husband had Grouper Quesadilla. Everything was so delicious and fresh! Baked potato your eating all that and the skin . Definitely made our list to come back. People are super friendly and nice.

We always come here every beach trip, and it’s always the best food we have all week. I highly recommend the crab cakes, stuffed mushrooms, jumbo shrimp, and carrot cake!

After reading reviews, we decided to try this place. WRONG choice. Food was just ok and the man that seated us, decided to ask my friend if she needed a phone to look at since my other friend and me were looking at stuff concerning our trip....and telling me I needed to put my phone away and have a conversation with those with me....even though we were talking among ourselves. I truly did not appreciate that. If I had been driving, we would have been gone. I have no intention of returning. Those of you that love this business, can have it.
