Southside has a clean, new feel, not a worn out tourist joint. Lizzie, our waitress, was related to everyone working there. They ask if you're satisfied and genuinely care. Should I say more? Glad I listened to where locals go. Bad news is they are only open Wed. to Sat 4.30 to 8:00. So we go early.

Celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary with Mimi's award-wining homemade carrot cake.Wish we lived closer to enjoy their unbeatable family service and delicious food. Love this place!

Been going to the Southside Grill for over five years. Best food in Myrtle Beach, bar none. The grilled seafood, especially the grouper and shrimp, are very fresh and cooked to perfection. Incredible!!! Other entrees just as good and the homemade desserts, made daily by the owner, are perfection. Prices are great. Many locals eat here. If you can’t appreciate incredible food, friendly family service, excellent desserts and Rick’s sarcastic sense of humor, you’re probably a jagoff. Stay home.

Visited this location after reading so many recommendations on a local Neighborhood app. So glad we did! Small family operation with unreal service and homemade meals + desserts. Food was some of the best we have EVER had eating out! Top quality, large portions and perfectly prepared! Very reasonable cost. You can bring your own wine or beer, no alcohol! They run specials daily + regular menu. Highlight of dining experience was the homage cheese cake for dessert. FANTASTIC!

What a cute, quaint restaurant! Nancy greeted us with a smile and seated us quickly. I ordered Grouper a la Kim- amazing! Mom had chicken sandwich and my friend had the shrimp/grouper combo. Lizzy was perfect on our orders and quick to accommodate extras we asked for. Nancy stopped by to tell us the history of the restaurant and the moves it has made. It was a terrific experience and we will definitely be back on our next visit to SC!!!!!

Owners are huge Pittsburgh Steelers fans so lots of memorabilia on the walls. We bring our Eagles football flair with us and the owners are always amused. We banter back & forth. All good fun ?Save room for the desserts! Best ever!!Unfortunately for us they're not open 7 days a week. I believe they shut down for a period of time in the winter so they can relax & enjoy their family outside of working.Check days & hours before heading out!Parking: Plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible. This place is a gem in Murrell’s Inlet. We had reservations at a much fancier, high end place but canceled after reading reviews of this place. It’s small and cozy and the service iwas impeccable! The people are so friendly and there was one guy (we think the may have been owner) who was hilarious! We both ordered the Grilled Grouper w Mango Salsa with a Baked Potato and the fish was some of the freshest we’ve had in awhile. For dessert, we shared a huge piece of Coconut Cream Pie that was outstanding! We are so happy we found this place and will definitely be back!

What a find. This place serves delicious seafood with large portions without the high prices. My wife had grouper topped with crab, I had grouper dinner, friends had a salad with grouper and chicken with sautéed onions and peppers. We all loved our meals and vowed we will be back. The family that runs it are wonderful down home people.

My wife, 2 kids and I went there for dinner while on vacation. The food was great, as was all the staff. I had the Pittsburger, wife/son had shrimp quesadilla, other son had plain burger. Everything tasted great and we’re so glad we found them.
