La Reata Taqueria Mexican Restaurant

Broken AC made it very hard to enjoy a hot meal.
The food had good flavors, and the staff was friendly.
However, it wasn’t the cleanest place—I saw a staff member eating watermelon while cleaning tables.
House margaritas are around $15, which is pricey compared to other places, but the staff explained they include Grand Marnier and a homemade margarita mix? Still not sure why a house margarita will include grand Marnie’s but oh well . Probably won’t be back since it’s far from me and not worth the drive .

deeply mediocre Mexican food which is both over-spiced (with paprika), greasy and bland all at the same time? and expensive for what it is - a burrito plate and an enchilada plate came to $40 for two people, and left us both feeling like we'd been hit by a truck - it's not the worst cheap Mexican food I've had but at this price point I'd expect something much better, most of it went in the trash especially the chips which were dripping with grease

The best fresh Mexican restaurant in Greer. Amazing salsa bar with so many choices. Must try!!! Shrimp tacos were to die for 🤩

Sitting here as I am typing. Food: 10/10 atmosphere 10/10 drinks: 10/10 They have a salsa bar that includes lettuce and sour cream (most places charge for it). Highly recommend! Has become a go-to spot!! Sorry, no pictures of the food.....it was that good!!! Y'all go check them out for real!!!!

Horrible experience! Walked in nobody there, was met by a child that glared at me the whole time. Very hot inside, of course it is summer in the south. Person who took my order was too busy on her phone to wait on me. I quickly left. Not again for me!!!

This is a nice family restaurant, different from what I was used to so I need to go another time. The food was definitely freshly made and the people were really friendly and welcoming.

I used to love coming here years and years ago, but unfortunately, my friend and I both got food poisoning after eating here recently. I tried to call the restaurant to notify them and no one answered and no voicemail set up. We both got completely different entrées. The only items we shared were bean dip, salsa, and queso. I hate leaving a negative review, but I feel it’s important to share this info & unable to connect with restaurant staff.

Our waitress did not speak English so it was very difficult to discuss allergies and dietary needs. My friend received and was charged for something she didn't even order.
The food was overcooked and the prices are high.

Great authentic non- Tex-Mex, Mexican food I especially like the variety on the salsa bar. Mini local Hispanics eat here

The food is wonderful! They cook everything fresh to order, have a salsa bar. Best tequila in town!

Food was really good, but the service was amazing!!! Really enjoyed our meal.
