Ate lunch here 8/23/25. Ordered our steaks medium, they came out medium rare. Server told us they could cook them some more, that always makes a steak worse. I went ahead paid my 50 bucks for meal and left server 10 dollar tip. I fulfilled my side of the bargain, Texas Roadhouse didn't fulfill theirs. We only eat 1/4 of our steaks. Cook the food right the first time. Let a manager know, didn't seem to happy to do anything but cook them more.

This place is poorly managed was not impressed with my last visit and thought I would give them a second chance. I tried giving them an other chance from their poor service and mediocre food to walk in welcomed and asked if they had any availability because they were busy. Was told I had bar options… the bar , bar high top or booth. Was rudely surprised when another coworker walks up to me while I’m waiting for my guests and says rudely “the bar is over there this is a table. Ummm yep pretty aware it’s a table. Trying to make me move with a family behind her that she was seating. Number 1 rule in service… make sure your table you are seating is clean and available!!!! Won’t be back and will let everybody know my experience.

We just moved to the area and went to celebrate my daughter’s 2nd birthday and felt like we were just bothering our server. When asked if they did dessert and a song my server gave me a nasty look and just said we don’t do dessert (which I thought was odd because we had always got dessert for birthdays, but maybe it is by location), when I said that’s fine but can you do the song at least she nodded and walked away. We hadn’t seen her for awhile and finally got the song at the end. The only time we saw our server was to take our order and then at the end to ask if we were done. I felt like we were just a bother, which is a bummer because we picked Texas Roadhouse for its fun atmosphere and the cool birthday celebration they usually do. This location was not the standard of service we usually get from Texas Roadhouse.

Update 9/1/25
A waffle house ribeye steak is thicker and better than A Texas Rhodhouse steak. Don't believe me, look at the picture. The picture is of the second steak due to the first one being well done vs medium as ordered. Sad that they choose to cut their premium steak that thin and ruined a good cut of meat.

The service was the worst ever, empty drinks for 13 minutes and our server was apparently training a new server. Why would you teach your team to fail from day one?

If you need help with customer service and repairing steaks correctly let me know. Just a hint, and good steak starts with the cut and a thin Ribeye makes no sense at all.

My dog will enjoy the so called Ribeye Steak that I paid 25.00 for.

This location has improved since our last visit 2 years ago. Great servers and the food was all made correctly. We will be back soon.

We usually go to the Spartanburg location, but that one really isn't worth going to anymore due to their poor service and them not knowing how to make a steak.

Believe it or not, this was our first time at Texas roadhouse. We just moved here from Washington State a little over a year ago. It was a fun and great experience. Our server was Kimona, and she was great! Very friendly, answered our questions, and even gave us some of her recommendations from the menu. My wife had a sirloin, I had prime rib. I should’ve gone with the steak, as the prime rib was very fatty. Kimona had warned me! Ha. But all in all, we really enjoyed our experience there.

I took my grandmother here for her 82nd birthday. I informed the host twice and even the server was informed that it was her birthday. No one came to sing to her which happens to be one of the only reasons I chose to go here. I was incredibly disappointed as I was truly hoping for something just a little special to happen for her. Won’t be back.

It was a busy Friday night. We were on a waiting list before we arrived. Was seated within two minutes of entering the building. The bussers are so fast there. Our server was Ethan he made sure everything was good and very fast to anything we needed. I thought they had food runners, but I was wrong. Just great teamwork to make sure everyone is getting the food out fast. Great food. Everything was delicious. Great job tonight.

Multiple employees assured me that they did, indeed, have a changing table. However, no one wants to address the issue that ANY baby big or small would be in so much danger just getting a diaper change at this restaurant. I had to hold the changing table up with one leg and it still felt like he could roll off any second as he’s squirming and I’m balancing on one foot JUST to change a diaper. If you aren’t going to make sure the changing table is safe, and kept functional, why not just have it taken out? This is so so dangerous. What happens when a mama with a newer baby comes in to change the diaper and her baby rolls off onto the floor and suffers brain damage? This is such a liability. On top of that, when I came outside, I come back to the table to find several things off about my food including that it was served mostly cold. I used to eat there all the time several times a week. My whole family did. I haven’t been back since my baby was so unsafe on that changing table.

I called into the Greenville, SC location asking if they had prime rib today. Staff answered and the girl put me on hold and said she’d check. Few minutes later she said they do have prime rib today. I arrive 30 min later it took that long to get there. I go to the bar and the menu said prime rib Fri, Sat, Sun which the bartender confirmed. I was so mad and disappointed for driving out to get the prime rib and was given bad info from staff. So after the bait and switch I ordered ribs and fries which wasn’t that good. What a disappointment. I’m just turned off by Texas Road House now and not interested in going back anytime soon. Too many restaurants to waste time with them. Plus too expensive for what they offer. And the staff wasn’t even that good either. I Expect more when paying high prices to go out. This location not on my return list and you should heed the warning if you go. Buyer beware.
