It's a really great place. My favorite dog was the lola one, it was one of the best hot dog I've had here. The music was super, and the staff was very kind.

A true hidden gem in Taylors, SC. EVERY SINGLE THING ABOUT THIS PLACE MADE ME SMILE! The Bratwurst I had was delicious and perfectly cooked. They have a dozen craft beers on tap. The coleslaw was just the way I like it. The banana pudding topped off the meal in spectacular fashion.
The head honcho is a Wisconsin transplant whose claim to fame is the Chicago Dog.
Her name is “Red”, and she is
a complete delight. She is very talented in many artistic genres. And her tastes in the music that plays in the background is spot on. Do yourself a favor and check out this great joint!

Just happened to find this place online and we are so glad we did. The food was amazing and the service was fabulous. Thankful taking a chance on a new place lead to us finding a new favorite dinner place.

The hot dogs would be my vote for best in Greenville. They are a little on the pricey side, but the quality is there. I do not mind spending a little more for good quality. The atmosphere is interesting - the decor is a work of art in itself. It is amazing what the owner did with repurposed materials from the dental shop that occupied the space previously. The service was great and the person working there was friendly, efficient, and showed that she appreciated our business. I will go back.

Best Hot dogs in the area...Super fun location with games and good music

Googled “hot dogs near me” today in my relentless search to find a go to spot for the best hot dog in the area. Groovy Dawgs popped up and was in 15 minutes so off I went. Found out real quick the owner was a cheesehead from Wisconsin but decided not to hold that against her. Haha ( as a matter of fact, they use Duke Mayo in their homemade slaw and potato salad. On my way home from picking up my granddaughter from school so I didn’t sample any of the delicious drafts they had on tap. I ordered 2 all the way to go. She said you don’t want them all the way. Hmm I would have had 20 items stacked on that wiener! I said ok “SC all the way- chili, mustard, onion.” That option is called Carolina Girl. Cutting to the chase. The bun was soft and steamed, the amount of toppings ( #1 the chili) was abundant. This hot dog was not your red dyed, who knows what is inside, cheap wiener. This thing was bursting with flavor all by itself. On top of that, the chili was the absolute best in a 25 mile radius of Publix on Wade Hampton Blvd, the white onions were freshly diced, and a delicious mustard tied it all together. I am finally satisfied that I have found the best in our area. Oh, I will continue to try others but next time in the area of Groovey Dawgs, I am stopping in and taking I seat, ordering one of these awesome hot dogs and washing it down with an ice cold beer. Thanks for the experience!

This place was so awesome!!!! Great atmosphere, good tunes, and food was amazing. Only hiccup for me was the potatoes being crunchy in potato salad but I like a mashed potato style tater salad but flavor was spot on! Lady that served us (sorry I missed the name) was amazing and a great personality. Definitely going again and again and again....

I want to start out with the fact that I absolutely love hotdogs but have always been more of a NC/SC “all the way” kinda guy. Groovy Dog is not my first foray into what I will term as craft hot dogs but I have never truly enjoyed them until now! I have been coming here for quite some time now and continuously forget to leave a review but after the special I had today I could not forget this time. (There is a new special dog every week or two)

My favorite dog here is called the Ring My Bell and I love it but the Great Balls of Fire is the Lamborghini of Hot Dogs!!! The flavors literally gave me chills and changed my perspective on life. I had it with the recommended Jalapeño Cheddar Brat and I cannot begin to explain how good this special is. I would start a petition to the senate to make the owner have this as a permanent part of the menu! I believe if you could serve this to the world not only would it solve world hunger but would end wars. I literally would marry this hot dog!! I highly recommend Groovy Dog!!!!!

Not to be anti climatic but the music is awesome and they have a vegetarian brat that my girlfriend loves.
