My wife and I frequently travel up and down the eastern US, making a point to slip into quirky and vibrant coffee shops. From Florida to Connecticut, this is hands down my favorite one I’ve ever been into. The atmosphere is vivacious and lively, warm and welcoming, the staff is gracious and involved and attentive, and the coffee is to absolutely die for. She took our order no problem AND made the food fresh and LET me just say, I ATE IT ALL! (It’s a big amount!) It was so delicious, the Hot-yaki wings, the fries, and the best part of it all was the Parmesan grilled cheese burger! Today someone got frustrated with me after getting loud over the phone because I didn’t understand that he was saying $6.60 instead $16. I called back to add another item and they hung up. “We stopped here at Shoney's on the way home from Virginia, it was easy access to leave the highway and get back on. We usually do the breakfast buffet but opted to just order off the menu. The food was hot and very tasty. I would reorder it again. Tho the wait time on our food was a bit long.”
