Just discovered this little restaurant in Timmonsville and they have fast take out service. Always have my order without any mistakes. Love the hamburger steak, Fried Chicken and Hamburgers. They are friendly and professional. These type of restaurants are rare these days.

VERY disappointed. The quality of food is not what it used to be when Mrs Angie was running things. New management maybe? Not sure, quality cutbacks due to cost? Who knows Ordered club sandwich and did not get what a club sandwich should be. One piece of ham on one and one piece of turkey on one and literally one tiny piece of thin bacon on one little triangle of the sandwich. Shame really because there isn’t many places to grab a sandwich in this area. The card machine seems to be always “down” so need to have cash. For the prices in my opinion the quality isn’t there.

I had such a great experience at George’s Family Restaurant! From the moment I drove up, the lady at the window was warm, welcoming, and had an amazing personality—customer service like that truly sets the tone.

Let’s talk about the food 🔥 I barely had time to blink before my pink lemonade was gone—it was that good. I ordered the grilled pork chop with mashed potatoes and gravy, fried okra, and lima beans, and baby… I don’t know who was on that grill, but they understood the assignment. That pork chop was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor—perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The portions were very generous and left me more than satisfied.

This is hands-down a perfect lunch spot—comfort food done right with great service. I will definitely be back!

I was driving through timmnsville as an i surface agent seeing some clients and stopped by here for lunch. The double cheeseburger was spot on. Big, juicy, and full of flavor. Absolutely wonderful actually. Try it out!

If you’re looking for good food and coming down I-95 definitely check out George’s. We ordered the chicken plate, burger box, and flounder and shrimp plate. Burgers were great, flounder, chicken and the salad that came along with it was all delicious.

Great place to eat the food is fresh service is good you just can't go in and eat and bring it to your car for the drive-thru and a patty melt is the best sandwich in the world from there

Parking: There's plenty of parking call that's the only way you can get your food you go through the drive-thru and then they bring it out to your car no dining at all

Great food by great family!

Ordered some take out 2 cheese burgers and onion rings,wow the onion rings were so messed up look like they had already been cooked and we ordered them they just recipes them in grease and served them for 15.00 dollars my food should had been cooked to order and looked fresh but it wasn’t who ever the manager is please get it to together because of now you have lost a loyal customer. And that’s because it’s the 2nd time I received bum food from here
