We were excited to try out this restaurant. The food was ok but did not meet expectations. It is expensive so thought the food would be amazing but again it was ok. My son had a steak, he ordered it medium rare but it was rare and his fries were soft. I had the scallops but the bed of rice it was served on was crunchy. My husband had the sea bass and it was luke warm. Disappointing! We did like the fried calamari and the drinks were tasty.

The food was good and service was great. The menu options were small and their website showed multiple dinner menus which was confusing. The menu is limited and doesn't offer anything for the vegetarian. While our service was excellent and the food tasted good, I don't know if it is somewhere that we will return.

Update to review: Gene, the manager (or owner), called me about our visit. He was friendly and understanding, and because of his response we'll definitely give Core450 another try. I appreciate his effort to make our next experience better. I rarely write negative reviews, as my wife and I generally prefer to share positive experiences or simply assume that less-than-ideal visits are one offs. However, I felt it was important to share feedback as it was not up to the standard we've come to expect. We have enjoyed dining with you on several occasions in the past, which makes this experience all the more disappointing. After being seated, we waited about 20 minutes before anyone checked in on us. Our initial server was delayed, and Angela M. eventually took over. While we appreciated her stepping in, overall service was lacking. Unfortunately, the food itself was also disappointing, leaving us with one of the least satisfying meals we've had in quite some time.

The weather was perfect for sitting outside. Service was very friendly and the food was amazing. Peach Old Fashioned is one of the best. Food portions were great!! We drove 45 mins to eat here because we like it that much. Highly recommended.

Exceptionally experience always, Core 450 is one of the best in the upstate . The food is amazing created with such bold flavors offering many options to entice your pallet.

The food here is excellent and it's a good vibe especially if you can sit outside but the service has really gone downhill, they need training big time. Super nice folks but tables shouldn't sit with dirty plates for that long being neglected and no table cleaning in between courses is crazy. Fine dining prices, with Applebees level service is not the best combo, but again, the food is awesome.

Our friend's birthday celebration was highlighted by an outstanding meal at Core 450! Our server was professional and fun to work with...the service was a bit slow because of being understaffed but our delicious meal made up for it!

Don’t be fooled by the fact that this a “Golf Course Restaurant” - it was absolutely delicious! The staff was great, the pricing was reasonable, the cocktails were delightful. We had Chilean sea bass. It was the first time my partner had eaten this, and he was delighted. It was prepared perfectly! The staff was so sweet. We had a special occasion and they treated us like royalty!
Everything was wonderful from the time we walked in. We were greeted kindly, and then several serving staff said hello to us as we were led to our table. The food and drinks are delicious, the service was attentive and friendly. The views from the restaurant are beautiful. The only negative I would say is that our food came out too quickly after our appetizer and that needs to be spread out a little bit more. We had barely touched our appetizers before our food came out.

Wow! From our incredible server, Angie, to the amazingly talented chef, Harrison, this birthday dinner was an 11 out of 10!!! The food was perfectly prepared, the drinks were creative and delicious, and the evening was perfect. Take a look at the pics and see for yourself!

Had a wonderful bone in ribeye that was dry aged and love the hot salt stone for tabletop cooking ! Service from Leah was excellent, and we love the creative cooking by the chef... Definitely try the steak with the hot salt rock!

Our meals were outstanding. Filet was a bit salty. Venue is one of a kind beautiful. Service personnel are the best of the best in the area. Truly a special restaurant.

Located on a golf course, this restaurant has a professional, friendly staff that seems to get a lot right. We enjoyed the Seabass along with some shareable plates.
