Great location and beautiful venue. The food is good, but unfortunately the service continues to be a real disappointment. This was my second time dining here, and once again the service was extremely slow. The waitresses seemed disengaged and not proactive at all. I asked for bread three times—it was never brought to the table, yet still appeared on the bill. Details like this make it hard to enjoy the experience. A real shame, as the setting and cuisine deserve much better...
Honestly, one of not the best eating out experiences we've had since moving back to Greenville. We did the restaurant week menu and tried one of each. Each was incredible! And the outdoor ambience was perfect. Thanks for a great dinner.
I visit Restaurant 17 every time I am in town - and am never disappointed. The room is inviting and the noise level is just right. Our server was attentive, informative and timely. Our appetizers and entrees were exquisite - with succulent flavors and inviting plate presentations. Barbara - the manager - greets us warmly each time we visit - and ensures that no detail is forgotten. She is a delight to interact with. We will be back soon.
