Told by family we had to try this place and boy did it live up to the hype. Delightful food with a great message behind it, everything we had was top notch. Highly recommend visiting when there is live music, really added to the experience. Service was extremely friendly and fun on top of it all. Lastly their cocktail selection was the cherry on top. A must try!

Topsoil is a true gem in TR! Their menu changes seasonally and everything is always excellent. Great staff, food and drinks!

Topsoil offered a promising dining experience initially, with enjoyable food. However, the discovery of dog hair in my pancakes and on the table, along with a persistent canine beggar, significantly detracted from the overall enjoyment, highlighting a need for improved cleanliness and control over the pet-friendly atmosphere.

What a gem of a spot! My girlfriends and I went in today for brunch and upon entering we’re met with the soft sounds of a bluegrass band with a fiddle. It was such a great space and the band was light and sweet to listen to.I got the wagyu burger and it was absolutely divine. The eggs were outstanding and breakfast sandwich was incredible. Would definitely come to this place again if ever in the area!

I stopped here by coincidence and was so impressed that I'll make it a point to visit every time I'm in town. I had one of the best dining experiences of my life here: the food, its presentation, and the service were truly spectacular. (My party and I had just arrived from a fine dining restaurant, and we unanimously agreed that we received significantly better service here.) I don't even know how to describe the food here... Our party of four split about 16 different plates, and we all loved every single morsel.

Cannot recommend this place enough. I was a little skeptical because I'd heard it was expensive and wasn't sure it would be worth it. It is. Trust me, it is.Even with dietary restrictions, I was able to feast on a multi-course meal. Each dish was truly culinary art, and the blend of flavors an absolute delight to the senses. Service was exceptional. Will absolutely be going back for special occasions.Dietary restrictions: Each course had gluten-free and dairy-free options

Loved everything about this eclectic place in Travelers Rest! And grateful for the Golden Hour special ($10 off 5-6 Thursday through Sunday). Love that you can get 2 small plates and an entree or 1 small, 1 entree, 1 dessert. My husband and I shared — 3 small plates, 2 entrees, 1 dessert. Perfect.

Wow.. loved this experience. Service, across the board, was terrific. Sat at the bar even with a reservation (should tell you something about how great this place is) and our server/bartender, Sean, was the absolute best. Food was out of this world. Menu is fixed price for 3 courses and you cannot go wrong. Could not recommend this place more. Go, go, go….

The staff is knowledgeable, timely and were fitting for the atmosphere of the restaurant. The plates were well curated with layers of flavors and textures that complemented each bite. You can tell each plate was purposely designed in both taste and visual appeal. The specialty drinks were well balanced and didn't rely on being too sweet or too strong.Overall a great experience that will bring me back the next time I am in town.

The food is very expensive and this is a high end place. Also, if you’re a picky eater I wouldn’t recommend. Organic and vegan, and ultimately not really for me.

I had high expectations for this place given all the great reviews, but it’s not going to last. They are relying on the farm to table concept to carry them while providing below average customer service and below average food preparation. Here’s a run down of my experience: I ordered corned beef hash and eggs over medium. I got a few scraps of dry hash and eggs cooked hard. I asked for new eggs and got hard cooked eggs again. I asked for toast and was told they don’t have enough bread, but I was offered an English muffin only to be told 10 minutes later that they don’t have enough English muffins so they’ll bring me toast. My friends ordered scrambled eggs and they were cooked like a child made them… cooked hard like neon yellow rubber. They offered to bring me a cinnamon roll since my food was prepared wrong but we had already ordered one. They didn’t subtract the one we ordered from the bill and they didn’t make it right. Locally sourced food isn’t good enough. You have to have chefs who know how to cook and you have to hire servers who provide good service. It’s basically like a micro brew beer bar run by hipsters providing bad customer service, only with food. I don’t expect it to last once the new girl in 10th grade feeling wears off.

Some times their "vegan" food has duck. The past few times I went several of the dishes I got they said we've vegan but actually had cheese or duck or butter. If you care about cruelty free food I would not recommend this place..

We had a wonderful evening, Everything was fresh, they were very flexible with their chef menu. The food was wonderful!I would recommend the Duck, however because they have a daily menu it might not be available but if you see it, it's worth the pleasure! Sorry for the poor picture it does not do it justice. The other was a cranberry jalapeno hummus which was amazing as well! The waitress was beyond exceptional and we had a wonderful evening.
