Local bakery/deli that excels at breakfast in particular. A short trek off the main drag, but easily walkable. Not infrequently less of a wait for higher quality food than a lot of places in Travellers Rest. Lots of eclectic outdoor seating with plenty of room for larger parties to stretch out. Great for take away baked goods and sandwiches as well.

This place is so cute. The sandwiches are so yummy and the baked items are great as well. My favorite part is the focaccia bread they use for the sandwiches. The only downside is the parking, while on sight, is very odd. It makes me nervous but overall is fine.

Very charming location in Travelers Rest to have a coffee with some amazing pastries. Staff is very friendly and the service was great! I did try their grits, which were very good.

Horrible. Just left from breakfast. Not crowded. 27 minutes from ordering to food getting served. Sausage was cold. Toast was cold. Service was rude. Could care less about us. Last visit

An upscale gourmet menu in a small town atmosphere. Since the breads and pastries are made on location as you witnessThe breads are all that to make this a place a destination day trip from here in the upstate of SC.

I guess we hit it at a bad time today based on all the other positive reviews. I am saying do not go if extremely busy. We ordered two entrees to go. My wife had a salad with Turkey and I had the sandwich special. It took a good 45 minutes. For $13 my wife’s salad was lame. Very little Turkey. And a lot of lettuce. Sorry, but it was just a bad experience.

Love coming here, a local favourite. Their offerings are very bready in nature so we don’t come here all the time, but every once in awhile. They have breakfast stuff, lunch sandwiches, and bakery sweets but also have hours that go past dinner time, which is sometimes really helpful. Their bakery items are OK but I imagine some people would consider them amazing. We love sitting in their outside patio when the weather is nice. It’s a little shoddy and in need of some updates or renovations though. The tables and chairs look secondhand. The patio wood needs painted or replaced. The side of the building is full of electrical work that seems piecemealed together with no thought to aesthetics, especially with it being on the customers’ side. But, it feels cozy, snug, and in the heart of downtown TR. The outdoor atmosphere feels more like a privately owned hole in the wall rather than a rundown establishment. I think they might even do live music on the weekends. And their garden area by the patio is usually really pretty. One thing I would recommend, outside aesthetics aside, is having more side options to the sandwiches. It has expanded over the years but sometimes choosing between fried oily chips or vegetables as a side isn’t at all appealing.Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options which are clearly labeled

Awesome staff. Great food! You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorite is the UP Classic.
