We love Big D's. Their pulled pork is out of this world. Today I went to pick up 5 lbs. of pulled pork, 1 lb. of brisket, 1 full slab of baby back ribs, and 1 lb. of their fabulous smoked meat loat plus 4 different sides (1 lb, each). I checked their website to be sure they were open and arrived about 45 minutes after their posted opening hour. NO ONE WAS THERE. Smokers were going, two cars were there, doors were locked, no one responded when I called out repeatedly to them. What abummer. WHY?????

Just happened to be a few miles from where we were staying. Glad we found it. Brisket sandwich with Mac n cheese and hush puppies. Smoked meat loaf with Brunswick stew. Both really good meals. Good serving sizes. Didn’t leave hungry. Really liked the vinegar based sauce.
Excellent place to eat. Workers are nice and do their best to serve each with a joyful spirit
