I paid over $40 for a boss boil and only got 1 thing of crab legs and half a potato. Wasn’t worth the money I paid for. Very disappointed

Here is my honest review below:I went to their food truck nearby to try it out. I spent $35 for a seafood boil. It was two pieces (bunches) of crabs legs, about 7-8 pieces of shell-on shrimp, half of a potato, 1 boiled egg and 1 piece of corn. For $2.50 extra I added Cajun flavor.The Cajun flavor is a waste of money. It’s literally just drenched in Texas Pete hot sauce!!!! I don’t like Texas Pete hot sauce. I’m not very pleased with their flavor. The seafood itself is cooked well but the flavor isn’t there. What really makes a seafood boil is the sauce and the sauce was not good in my opinion. Nothing has come close yet to the flavors of Crab Du Jour, I suggest trying this place.

The portions should match the pictures and prices, and the sausage cost extra. This was my portion for about $35. On a brighter note, the chicken and shrimp Alfredo was tasty.

My husband purchased us both seafood trays from here for my birthday and we were so dissatisfied. Food was very high seasoned and the shrimp were raw. We live a good ways and just sucked it up. I told him maybe it was because it was last minute. Tried them a 2nd time same results a waste of our money I apologize but for what we paid it should have been better.

The girl at the front are amazing (receipt said jayden) also girl who answered phone was very patient and took her time answering my question. My only complaint is food. The portions were not reasonable for the price. I got big boss and got 2 small crab leg fhat were not filling at all The shrimp was hard to peel.

I usually love Boss Seafood. Whenever I go visiu dad, this is my spot to grab some seafood. This last time I wasn't impressed, my food was sideways in the bag and when I got to my dad's house everything was a mess. And I paid $2.00 for extra butter garlic sauce that ended up being a puddle in the bottom of the bag. I think if the young girls working there was busy flirting withy sons, they would've take extra care as to how the food was placed in the bag. And the shrimp was overcooked. For $165 to feed five people I just expected a little more attentiveness to the presentation, the bag placement, the customer service, and especially not to have to pay an additional$2.00 for a small cup of butter garlic sauce that I didn't get to use. I am not that 3 strikes you out type of woman, fool me once shame on you

My first time was amazing! The service was great and the food was off the charts! I had the low country boil with 2 clusters definitely worth the money! I also ordered there fried fish, big 2 pieces and season very well. Filling and give large amount of food to be a seafood place 5 stars but they deserve 10! So happy they are in Hampton area and affordable.Thanks again Boss Seafood
