Tasting was amazing (shout out Greg, go blue!), the selection of drinks and merch was expensive, and the mixed drinks at the bar are a level above anyone in the area
Venue is ok buy they do not return calls. No cash. No shade. No customer service.... edit i dropped to one star... the rain or shine thing is bs as they cancelled our concert without refund. Eff this venue credit one is way nicer for charleston shows. I hope this place closes to be honest.
Came in Fri May 16th from Tennessee and had a great time amazing venue me and my kids all felt this was a very friendly and we will definitely be back again.
As a concert venue there were pros and cons - pros being the sound system was fantastic, easy to get up close to the bands, all played on time, great shows. It was 90+ degrees out and not much shade - but that's Charleston. I would hate to be out here in the rain or mud. Parking is limited so just get there early - got there at 4:15 plenty of spots left. Biggest issue is price gouging on beer - $13 for a 12 ounce can of crappy beer is ridiculous. Come on Firefly, you can do better than that!
Venue is large with plenty of room and sound and viewing were good as stage is elevated. Parking could be a huge issue here. There is no shade so be prepared. The very bad is expect to pay outrageous prices for beer. $13 for a 12oz can of suspect craft beer; $15 for a flavorless and not sure there is any liquor in it cocktail. This is by far the worst gouging I have seen.
Vodka has been trash since company was sold. And the music venue is horrible. You can have a heat stroke or, pay extra to get some AC.
We have been here for a few events and this was our first concert here. Very, very well done. Excellent set up, lots of space, good food truck selection, a mister to cool off, a free water refill station, plenty of bathrooms (porta potties) and the parking was not an issue for us (we got there early enough to get a spot on site) and parking was free!
I would absolutely, 100% go here for a concert again, an excellent place to see live music or for any other event.
We do not drink alcohol so I cannot comment on that, but they did offer non alcoholic choices, which is great.
Absolutely top notch concert venue
This is the 2nd time I’ve wasted money for a concert at this venue. The first time it started raining and everyone was huddled under the few shelters they have. It lightening and thundered and everyone thought the concert was over bc we were not able to get any info from staff so we left just to find out a hour later they restarted the show. They made this post a big deal saying rain or shine then cancelled this next concert 5 hours before the show bc of storms that NEVER happened. Rescheduled the show for 6 months away & no refunds. Absolutely absurd, then filter out my concerns from their posts on social media. I would have never bought tickets had I not been reassured ‘rain or shine’. Firefly’s response to all the other negative reviews blames Ticketmaster. I don’t care if my most favorite bands come here bc I won’t ever waste my time or money. Venue offers no shade, no protection, can’t bring a chair, overpriced drinks and unfriendly entry staff and bartenders.
The customer service shows that they truly care about their customers. Great place.

Fun taste and friendly people!
Dog friendly covered outdoor patio. Great they make you register your dog. Wish more places did. Whiskeys and cocktails were excellent, staff was polite and the prices were good.
Food trucks, animals to adopt, and great spirits. Really nice afternoon.
My family and I had an amazing experience at Firefly Distillery in South Carolina! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was outstanding—everyone was friendly, welcoming, and super knowledgeable. The tasting experience was absolutely top notch. They offer a great variety of spirits, and each one had its own unique flavor and story. The staff made the whole experience fun and informative, and you could really tell they enjoy what they do. If you’re in the area, this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to go back!
The tour/tasting really did not consist of a lot but the staff made it worth every penny. Super friendly and very accommodating when you ask to try things not in the tasting. The Java rum is screaming to go in to a B52, the bourbons/whiskeys are youngish and light in proof but very tasty (both). We had a couple Old Fashions made with their own syrup and they were really good as well. So good that we actually brought some home. Will visit again when in Charleston.
