The oyster roast is always an event to attend! Im a Charleston native now living in Greenville and there is NO place better than Firefly. Best place for locally made drinks, events, and a great time with family or friends.

Went to Firefly Distillery today. No event going on so cannot comment about that. I can tell you that purchasing alcohol there is a rip off. I should have checked prices at Total Wine before going to the distillery.Lemonade Vodka: $22 at the distillery $14 at Total WineStrawberry Moonshine: $22 at the distiller $15 at Total WineThis makes no sense to be seeing there are no distribution costs to sell at the distillery. Prices should be lower there.Total rip off!

I am not sure how exactly I feel. But I feel maybe less than a two. We went to see a concert that was awesome, JJ Grey, absolutely?. But one of the main reasons for the visit was to check out the distillery but found out on the four hour trip it was closed. It would be closed the whole weekend due to the concert. Except for brunch but not the same as being opened on a Saturday. The website said there was limited parking and no hotel shuttles, which was untrue. So we made a decision to Uber not wanting to worry about the parking. After the concert, traffic was backed up, and they made you leave the premises ( walking around saying go to the end of the road) and waiting at the road for Ubers. This was not very welcoming. As we were standing in the dark on the side of the road, multiple shuttles were picking up groups. Meanwhile, Charleston Ubers were charging 85.00 to go 3 miles. The biggest disappointment was the venue was a mud pit from all the rain, which is not their issue, but the way it was set-up was less than ideal. The food trucks and drinks were set up at the most furthest point of the venue, and you had to track in the dark to the edge of the woods to get anything. So. We didn't, and because of the Uber situation, we got home at 11:30, starving and thirsty. DEFINITELY NOT ROMANTIC OR ACCOMODATING weekend trip.

My wife got VIP tickets to see JJ Grey on March 9th 2024. We asked to be at the distillery at 2:30 pm. We got to watch 2 songs but nothing opened until 5 or 6 so we had nothing to drink or eat for over 2 hours, and can’t leave since they won’t allow re-entry. Will not be back. Ever.

What absolute embarrassingly poor customer service. We loved this place up until today. Been to numerous events here as we are locals but never again. We bought digital tickets that could easily be canceled and refunded if the owners/staff cared at all about the people that pay their bills. We unfortunately ended up with sick kids. The gentleman that answered the phone literally said that “we should’ve planned better” and that we would have to sell the tickets on line. No attempt to even sniff at helping. Completely rude and dismissive tone. Just happy to take people’s money for services not rendered. Willing to lose a frequent patron over $30. Great business model. What a complete jerk. Great representation of your brand Firefly.

I mean the place is huge!!! But when you try to book a tour + a tasting and you able to get just the tasting part , you get to think yourself “well this place will be packed an busy” …. Wrong!!!! When we arrived to the distillery the place was empty. The tasting was ok , i guess when you have to many different products you are not really good making any product! And that is just my opinion. They weren’t bad but nothing to appealing to actually buy a bottle and take ti with me. If you in charleston and you don’t have anything to do take a shot otherwise don’t sweat it.

1st time coming here and must say, it's very nice. Love the decor throughout and the outdoor space is huge. I've never been one to change from my normal drink but I told the bartender lady my usual drink of choice and she made me an awesome drink that I would have never thought of, well done. We'll definitely be coming back... thank you. Sorry no pics, will get some next time for sure
