Another place I saw and had to turn around to give it a try. Lived up to it's name for a last minute breakfast on the way out of town. I ate there so we didn't both starve. Good, and not greasy like so many places

This is the hidden gem of Walhalla! Kay and Tyler are great hosts and provide traditional Southern meals at a more than fair price point. The tea is always refreshing, the atmosphere welcoming, and if you are craving cat head biscuits you’ve found the right place.
Stop in and see for yourself! Whether it’s breakfast or lunch you’ll be satisfied and sure won’t leave hungry!!!
Kid-friendliness: Family owned and operated by exceptional folks.

Great food and our server was great, she's a highschool student and I was impressed greatly. As business owners and residents of this area I had never came here until today and I'm so glad I finally decided to go by and check it out. Reminds me of old school breakfast diners and the coffee was great. Thank y'all (Can't wait to try lunch)

So we are from out of town and we’re really looking forward to a small diner with some home cooked food. Unfortunately this was not what we received. Friendly staff and coffee was good. Ordered the country fried steak, mashed potatoes and green beans. Want to say the green beans were absolutely from a can, mashed potatoes ranked among the worst I’ve had and the country fried steak was something I would expect from a frozen bag from the grocery store. Wife got the same but Mac & cheese instead of green beans. Wow, that’s all I can really say. That did not get eaten. Was so excited for some corn bread. Tasted like it was days old and from a packet. Nothing home cooking about this meal whatsoever.

The food is good but nothing special. The restaurant is clean and waitresses are friendly. Prices are fair.

Small diner. Reminded me of my first job I had at 16. It took a good 5-10 minutes to get helped. There appeared to be one waitress. Mainly looks to be a meat & 2-3 sides. Dessert is offered. I came through & stopped by to get veg soup & cornbread as it was a rainy day. I’d never been here so thought I’d try it. It was ok. The beans tasted like out of a can & didn’t taste seasoned. Mac& cheese was good. Fried squash was really good. I wasn’t thrilled over the tea but could be me because I cut back sugar. I ended up pouring most of it out & getting ice water later. The pulled pork wasn’t bad but I’d have preferred more meat over sauce. Not saying I will not go here again but I spent almost $20 just for lunch so I’m back to taking sandwiches daily for lunch. $20 was just way too much to spend on lunch for one day.
