Nats flying around the entire time our food got to the table we were swatting the whole time as they landed on everything. Got mashed potatoes as a side and they use instant mashed potatoes absolutely horrid for a restaurant to do that.

The waitress was nice but the food was terrible. We got the Parmesan Crusted Steak Bites and I don’t remember the specific name of the dish but the other dish was a sliced steak dish of mushrooms, onions, and gravy on top of mashed potatoes.
The salad was better than most. So we had high hopes. The entrees looked fine on the plate but one bite was all we needed to know that there was a lot of prepackaged seasonings used. It was SO salty. The potatoes are definitely boxed potatoes and with it being smothered in salty, prepackaged gravy they were inedible. We decided to order a side of fries as that is hard to mess up.
The Parmesan steak bites were edible if I tapped the “juice” off of it.
I don’t use anything boxed or prepackaged when cooking at home. So, I can tell in one bite whether mashed potatoes are made fresh or from a box. Same with gravy. The waitress asked us if we wanted to take the leftovers and we said no.
Both dishes were $14.99 each. So, not the most expensive but enough to expect real boxed foods.
We have reason to pass through this area occasionally but we will not be stopping here again.

The one server actually doing her job is 70 and running her butt off while the rest of the staff comes into work immediately talks about how much they hate having to come into work for the whole place to hear. Told burgers come plain, wait 20 minutes for food when there is one other table that ordered food.
Save yourself the disappointment and go to McDonald’s. There’s obviously one crowd that pays the bills here, and they sure do cater to them.

We stumbled upon this place when we stopped off of I95. The food was great and Sharon Hudson did an amazing job with her recommendations and service. She made the experience even better than just the food. I hope to be able to stop back by on my way home. Highly recommend.

Place has been excellent everytime I have gone. Its always full of life and the food is great.
Located in an unassuming building, we found a hidden gem! This place is familiar in nature, and reminds me of bars from my 20s, but they serve the most delicious food! On our way back up the coast we got hungry and googled restaurants - Google did us right! Best fried mushrooms we have ever had! From the burgers to chicken sandwich to my fried green tomato BLT, we were more than pleased. If you're passing through the area, make this stop for classic Southern fare with new twists. Kid friendly!

Great food, parking lot makes you wonder but as soon as you enter, you realize it’s all good. VERY clean place, Josh at the bar was perfect. I had a Queen Ribeye - medium. Cooled perfect and it was a real steak, not some Chinese buffet junk. The salad was great, big, fresh and made when I ordered. You can trust this place, I don’t review much but this place deserved it. 5 stars, quality AND price. SUPER glad I stopped here for lunch. And plenty of TV’s with all the good stuff on. I don’t drink but there was PLENTY of selection. Thanks Josh!

Went there to play cornhole which ended up being plastic, all weather boards. The music definitely needs redoing, but I had fun and didn't feel unsafe.
