Im giving the food 3 stars only because I noticed that everything has become a lot smaller than before. You know, that really sucks to jack the prices up & get less food. WHY people?????????? I dont understand it !!!!!!! Where does that make sense????? Other than that, the place is fine. I really love Captain D's food. I really hate to see it go down over potions getting cut.

I know it's kind of wild to leave five stars for a fast food fish place, but the fish was perfectly breaded, crunchy, tender and delicious. Hush puppies were delicious and flavorful. I also got the okra, which was well-flavored and delicious and the Mac and cheese, which was creamy.
Even more impressive was the service. This place was SLAMMED and had been for a while, there was a crazy line when we got there. The trash was very full and there was one person in the kitchen and one guy with curly black hair serving customers. This guy was busting his ass to give excellent service, helping everyone without losing his cool, bringing out food, taking out the trash. It was so impressive.
We will be driving back and forth from Florida to Tennessee due to the loss of my dad, but we will absolutely stop here on the way. I can't wait.

First time eating at Captain D's... Wow got the chicken and fish plate and the 5 pc. Butterfly shrimp. everything was fresh and so good could only eat half ( great portions) great prices. Thank you Captain D's I will definitely be back

This location does not take cash. Everything is a card transaction. If you want to patronize Captain D’s and you do not have a debit card or credit card you’ll be out of luck. I wonder how much revenue that this place is losing. I can tell you the place was empty. Three people were just sitting around in the lobby getting paid. At least McDonald’s down the block takes cash payment and also debit card credit card too.

The nastiest place I have ever been in. Drink machine had a broken ice dispenser COVERED IN ALGAE AND MOLD. Walls, tables, seats were filthy. Menu boards blinking in disrepair. Sewer smell coming from the bathroom. Broken door locks. 2 piece fish was the best thing and it was soggy. Fries were cold and old. Macaroni and cheese was cold. Both meals were thrown away half eaten and walked out feeling like we needed a bath. Im not usually this harsh but this place was SO GROSS. Avoid.
Food very good...I'd pick up and take with though...the dine_in experience is underwhelming.

OMG!!! Wanted to try the new Butter Garlic Shrimp with fish for 5.99. Was THE WORST takeout meal I've ever had. If you want to be unhappy, order this. If you want to be happy and enjoy a good meal...keep driving

Waited 35 minutes for a order. Then they didn't even realize the order was done. I had to go back up to the window and ask when I asked the girl behind the counter when my order would be done she just kept walking and said I don't know. Another customer had waited 40 minutes for an order he placed online. Worst customer service ever. Will definitely not be coming back
