Cracker Barrel Reviews
We used to eat there a lot too much honestly since we're only a mile down the road. But since covid I dont care if there is only 3 cars in the lot its a 40 minute wait. You can see lots of empty tables in the dining room. Last time we "tried" we were told 10-20 minutes. So we waited. We browsed the store before going outside to wait. After about 30 minutes my wife went in to check and was told no our wait time has been 40 minutes all evening. So my wife said well we have already...read full review
worst service I have ever had. over an hour to bring soup and a salad.
Horrible experience. We ordered biscuits and cornbread when we sat down and they didn’t show up until after my husbands side salad came. They were out of cucumbers (didn’t tell him until the server put the salad down and asked if that was okay), croutons were old and stale. Cornbread had an awful taste to it. The Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Orangeburg and Walterboro offers a welcoming dining experience with a variety of classic American dishes. Customers praise the moist and crunchy chicken and waffles, as well as the soft and fluffy biscuits and good eggs and pancakes. The service is generally praised, with friendly, attentive, and excellent waitstaff. However, recent reviews indicate that the food quality has declined over the years, which disappoints many visitors. Some mention that the restaurant's southern atmosphere and country music remain enjoyable and authentic, and people still appreciate the cute items available for purchase. The Walterboro location has faced challenges like understaffing, but the friendly staff, such as servers Marvetta and Tabitha, are still appreciated for their good service. The fried turkey dinner continues to satisfy customers, and the restaurant remains a comfortable place to enjoy homestyle meals, despite concerns about food quality. Overall, Cracker Barrel still provides a cozy atmosphere with a mix of good service and familiar charm.
