We were looking for food and a beer, just north of Savannah on our way down from Bat Cave NC to Savannah. There was NOTHING south of Orangeburg. It was 3:30 and we’re starving. Found Fat Jacks & it was just okay (for fried rice) but burger was great for Him. The STAFF was awesome & attentive, especially Pippa the bar tender. The place needed a good cleaning but we didn’t care (too much).
I’m not from Walterboro but I stop in for the chicken salad croissant when I get the chance. It’s always delicious 😋
Longest wait ever since I’ve been coming. The food was ice cold, my husband ate his cuz he was hungry, i asked to pop mine in microwave. But fries were still ice cold and it turned the bread rubber. My husband is allergic to onions, we never have an issue and he asked for no onion and still got onions fried and red on his food. And was very disappointed that he was able to get a beer but no mixed drinks were being served. I couldn’t even get a cherry cole. The server was sweet , a little forgetful, but very sweet and friendly. But the cold food was def a turn off when we have been coming here a lot . Never had food this disappointing
I wish I could give this place zero stars. What was supposed to be a nice family dinner turned into a heartbreaking experience I’ll never forget — and one my children are still trying to make sense of. From the moment we walked in, we were met with cold stares. I tried to brush it off, thinking maybe I was overreacting, but it quickly became clear that we were not welcome. While other tables were greeted warmly and served promptly, we were ignored. After waiting over 20 minutes just for water — while customers who came in after us were already eating — I approached a staff member to ask if we could place our order. She looked me up and down and said, “You people always want something for nothing.” I was stunned. My children — just trying to enjoy a meal — looked up at me confused and afraid. I tried to hold it together, but when another server came by and muttered a slur under her breath loud enough for us to hear, I lost it. My kids started crying, asking why we were being treated that way, and I had no answer for them. We left without eating. No family, no person, should ever be made to feel less than human — especially not in front of their children. This place needs to be held accountable for the way they treat people. We will never go back, and I’ll be telling everyone I know to do the same.
Family friendly. The shrimp is good. The price and size of food are great. Will come back.location is good and we shopped at Walmart after the meal.
This place is rated # 2 on your site. We went in to a bar with a dirty surface. Ordered a martini, glass 3/4 full and too much vermouth. My husband ordered a chefs salad. I ordered the southwestern eggs rolls and a small salad Salads were pre made, came out in 2 minutes with bagged lettuce, hard cherry tomatoes and bagged cheese. My egg rolls were obviously premade and frozen from Gordon’s or COSTCO. glad we only ordered salads and an app. If this is the #2restaurant on your reviews - yikes. Just go to Ruby Tuesday or Cracker Barrel
Nice place. Good food quality. Little pricy. Service is good, food appears nice. Recommend to visit the place. I wish to have more sea food selection but overall nice place.

The service was wonderful. Fast, friendly and efficient. The food was very good for the most part. We each had the lunch special for $10.95 each.
My husband had the fried chicken and said it was juicy and very tasty. The fries were fabulous. It has been a long time since I have stollen more than one of the fries off of his plate but we were fighting for these.😁 He also liked the coleslaw.
I had the smothered chicken (no cheese) and it was a little over cooked (so dry) and needed more flavor.
The sweet potato was cooked perfectly and tasted great.
The okra and tomatoes were just ok but considering they are not in season right now they get a pass.
The best thing was the corn bread. AMAZING!!!

We ordered 3 queen cut ribeye steaks with side salad and baked potatoes. The steaks were subpar at best.
For the price, I would expect them to be much better than let’s say an expensive steak house. NOT what you’d get at a diner with eggs for breakfast. 3 subpar steaks and water and our bill was $130.00. The menu says market price. I’m not sure what market, this was way unreasonable !

Food was absolutely terrible not one lick of seasoning. Heck I even tired giving my dog the burger they gave me and she wouldn’t even eat it. The girl that gave me my order was kinda rude too, she was the very short girl. The only decent thing on my plate was the sweet potato fries. Who ever was in the kitchen on 3/24/25 needs to be stoned.

The Guinness was great but the corned beef , cabbage and mashed potatoes were cold. Fish and chips were much better. Overall just an average Irish pub with music from Sound Garden playing in the background
Arrived around 7 pm. this past Friday. It was pretty busy, but we were seated right away by a friendly and welcoming host. The waitress took our drink orders right away and I got up to stretch my legs a bit after a long drive. The manager just noticed me looking around a bit and was instantly trying to help me find the restroom or anything else that I may have needed. Big plus! Burger was excellent, as were the chicken fingers that my wife had. At the table next to us was a young family and one of them was having a birthday. I've seen many other places do the whole staff thing with singing, etc., but the manager, who led the troupe, truly seemed to be the happiest person there, leading the cheer. I wish I had taken a pic, but I won't forget his genuine smile and thrill. Of course, the family loved it. When we were ready to go, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Reasonable prices, good food, not rushed, great family atmosphere, attentive staff....what more could you ask for? I'll be back.
