KFC is going the opposite direction of McDs. This updated location is welcoming, well lit, immaculate, great value, and uses NICE PEOPLE instead of kiosk service.

My experience with the customer service was absolutely dreadful. I visited the drive-thru anticipating a quick meal, but instead, I was instructed to pull over and wait in the parking lot for my food. It felt so strange and inconvenient. After that, I ended up waiting an additional 15 minutes, anxiously watching the clock, as my hunger grew. The wait felt endless, and the overall experience was the worst service I have ever encountered.

I spoke with a person that later to be claimed to be the manager in the drive through. I was unable to understand him through the microphone so i stated I was going to order at the window. He wouldnt look at me and started to give attitude. I have forwarded this on. I asked to add the additional food at the window instead of doing so he kept repeating the price for mash potatoes as for me to pay for the one item.

We ordered 4 pot pies...after waiting 15minutes (the drive thru had 5 cars go thru and no one inside had gotten their food yet) was then told only 2 pot pies are ready would be another 22 minutes. So they gave us 2 pot pies and 2 bowls. When we got home the pot pies had no chicken in them! The bowls had 5 pieces of hard died out chicken. Very disappointing.

I was visiting family ( I live in Columbia) in Walterboro and we wanted KFC for lunch... We went inside and it looked like no one knew how to clean the tables... There were tables with food that people left and the other tables were dirty with trash on them. We waited to order on the kiosk machine which half way worked( took twenty minutes to order the food) The people behind the counter were so rude and nasty with the customers..I can understand being understaffed and people not wanting to work cause it happens where I work but The attitude of these employees were to much .. They acted like we were a burden to them and when a customer was complaining about something(we counted 7 different times this happened) the manager and the staff was like what do you want us to do about it..The bathroom was filthy and had looked like someone peed on the floor and the toilet was full of crap and the thrash can was over flowing... We waited for 47 minutes to get our food and had to send half of it back because they didn't fix it right and the chicken was hard like it had been there for a week..
I will never eat at a KFC again and I will make sure my family doesn't either.. This was a truly horrible experience...I will go somewhere else and pay more money to get better service....I will be calling corporate today and letting them know how bad this place was...

We along with everyone else seemed to be just passing through and wanted KFC... who wouldn't right!! It was a great location, but they were very understaffed..... maybe people were just out sick or maybe there is a pay issue... we entered the inside we could see they were busy, but always worth the wait! We were one of many people that truly waited but left while still waiting to order. Once we realized no one had food that were at the tables, we knew it would be too long for us to wait. We did wait 15 minutes, so we actually left, not getting any food in the area. Times are touch, we understand that, Great help is often hard to find at the right pay. The people working on Sunday Oct 27th were very hard working employees busting butt it appeared, seemed like you need a few more people that day. Will we stop here again ABSOLUTLY! We're sure it was just one of those days, but it cost the location a lot of money by not having more workers.

I thought I would give KFC another chance. It showed me again that not going to KFC was the right decision. I don't know if the management doesn't value customer service and quality. But it's about all the same.
The chicken here also tastes like old frying oil.
We really won't be going to KFC from now on.
